  • Blast from the past: New York to Los Angeles
    Jamie embarks on his first MotoGeo adventure as he buys a motorcycle for $200 in Brooklyn, New York and then rides it across the USA, traveling from Long Beach, New York to Long Beach, Los Angeles, California.
    Rules for the Adventure:
    $200 budget for the motorcycle
    Ride across USA
    Camping every night
    No shave or shower
    No Freeways
    No extravagance

      yeah i cant find the one where he was at the national park and slid down the water fall i think in sequoia national forest

    In 1990 I did almost the same trip in reverse from Marina del Rey CA to Ocean City Maryland only my bike was an '86 Ninja 600. I too froze my ass off in Flagstaff. Good times.

    About time you put this on youtube. I remember watching this years ago on some other website and loved it, but couldn't find it later. It actually inspired me to fly to the other side of the country, buy a bike, and ride it home. Been following your videos ever since.

    I'd love to see the "Joshua Tree" episode on the Tiger 1200 again.i loved the whole atmosphere,the camera work,the music.it's not on the channel anymore.Would be lovely to see the older stuff reposted/uploaded again.

    Yo! i cant believe i found you again i ve been looking for weeks trying to find your channel again and the 2 videos i remember were the cross country on a "$300" motorcycle and your trip to the sequoia national forest... that was like what 9 years ago?!!!

    Great to see the 'roadtrip video' making a come back. Love the camping, cooking and riding. Have missed them recently. Maybe recreate that first journey on a better bike with better video? Any chance?

    Wow. How long ago was this? 1850 or so I reckon. Jamie is actually 12 years old here. Things have come a very long way since then, mostly in image stabilisation 🤣

    I got myself 3 years ago a KLE500 as a first A2 motorcycle here in Italy. Done 25000 km so far. Great engine. Happy to see the same (similar) engine doing such a crazy trip.
    Unfortunately due to changing regulations in October I not gonna be able to use it to commute to work in Milan. But I hope I find a solution to keep it even tho I gonna need to buy something newer (maybe a street twin 900 or a cb650r )

    That was amazing! I’m feeling a bit silly for just having spent $11k on a new “adventure bike”, and I’ve barely been out of Illinois. But my sister is in AZ, used to live in Flagstaff, and I’m itching to ride out to visit. Thanks for the nudge.

    I rode my 2005 ex500 from florida to DC when I was 18. Time has made me appreciate how capable those bikes are , and howlittle you need for an adventure. Wrecked mine twice and sold for 800 at 32K. Still on a 500 albeit (gl500). heading up to Pennsylvania Friday.

    I used to work with roper. Don’t know if it’s the same one but he used to commute daily on an ex500. If it’s the same one that is truly incredible.

    Route 66 is one of the rides I want to do along with HWY 50 and old HWY 80, both of these HWY's go all the way across the country. I will be doing it on my Suzuki DR650.

    A lot of coast-to-coast motorcycle videos popping up in my feed. Starting to think it's a sign, lol. Which do I take across the country, the Bonneville or the Speed Triple? Both fuel-injected.

    I 100% would have removed that nail while u were in a shop. On a trip like that u never know when ull hit a rough road. A bump at the wrong place on that tire would easily cause a headache.

    Excelente video, yo ayer llegué de un viaje de mi país paraguay a la frontera con Brasil, conocí unas cuantas ciudades de volví ayer , el viaje lo hice en una moto china que valía 600$ una 150cc carburda, la compré en el año 2020 y viajo con ella por todo el país, incluso ya. Fui también a montecarlo argentina
