Does the oil block the serum? I’m confused, I was told oils last - thinnest to thickest ingredient order?

Yes, that's how I do it as well-- serum before oil!

Definitely will reduce the serums efficacy. I’d suggest cleansing the oil off after the massage. Also, oil does not hydrate skin. If you want to use oil it could go on again at the end, after serum and then moisturiser.
