Crew Demo-2 Splashdown - Watching Now
On Saturday, May 30, SpaceX’s Falcon 9 launched Crew Dragon’s second demonstration (Demo-2) mission from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, and the next day Crew Dragon autonomously docked to the International Space Station. This test flight with NASA astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley aboard the Dragon spacecraft returned human spaceflight to the United States. SpaceX and NASA are now targeting 7:34 p.m. EDT on Saturday, August 1 for Crew Dragon to autonomously undock from the Space Station, with the two astronauts aboard the spacecraft, and return to Earth. Approximately 19 hours later, after jettisoning its trunk and re-entering Earth’s atmosphere, Dragon will splash down at one of seven targeted water landing sites off the coast of Florida at 2:42 p.m. EDT on Sunday, August 2. The Demo-2 mission is the final major milestone for SpaceX’s human spaceflight system to be certified by NASA for operational crew missions to and from the International Space Station. Once the Demo-2 mission is complete, and the SpaceX and NASA teams have reviewed all the data for certification, NASA astronauts Victor Glover, Mike Hopkins, Shannon Walker, and JAXA astronaut Soichi Noguchi will fly on Dragon’s first six-month operational mission (Crew-1) targeted for late September.

Yeah, I welled up a bit myself. She's not just a talking head - she's a SpaceX engineer who worked on Endeavour. That was Kate Tice's work that kept those men alive and validated SpaceX's vision beyond reproach. She has a right to be emotional - and I have to commend her (and Dan Huott) for staying so pro over the course of a 10-hour broadcast.
They're going to Mars! They're really gonna do it! Today proved that and dispelled any trace amounts of doubt I had remaining (of which there was less than there was MMH around Endeavour during the purge). Now BRING ON THE SN5 HOP!!!

The lack of use of muscles can deteriorate fast, if you're injured and have to not use part of body for a few weeks you will have muscle and strength loss. That micro(variations of actually ) gravity and muscle deterioration is a very serious issue, to us staying in space for extended periods. The differences on other planets may mean problems coming back and living on Earth, after an extended length mission at colony due to weaker planet's gravity and the micro-g in space for travel in between.

Do you really believe that? They sent two dogs up, very low, to orbit around the earth, but they died the same day. In an hour... because of the heat... If you read about the atmosphere you can see it is 2000-3000 degree up in a certain place.. And you have a high radiation. You need 2 meters of lead around you, A total of 4 meter huge lead lump with you inside for you to survive. Think about it for a while.. Let it sink in. NASA told a couple of years ago, the technology to travel to the moon doesn't exist yet...
      It's all just a hoax.

I read up on the interview, what I got from it. It was a Smooth ride up and a violent ride back down " like a baseball bat to the back" hopefully SpaceX can install more comfortable chairs in the next space launch.
