i SWEAR in November , I will start getting my retirement funds and I will be donating to you . this video is really good to me as I find HRD a tough program to set up, more videos are needed and they do not seem to make any from the creator. I really dislike their online help files.
It's great to hear from you and thanks for commenting here. I sincerely appreciate the comment. I just got an old computer and I'm go in install HRD and do some new videos on it, HRDLogbook and DM780. There is so much to learn in those apps. 73 and good DX! de Rich KØPIR
I had an issue with my QSO's not being auto-uploaded to HRD logbook after I clicked ok at the end of the contact. I found out that if I turned off Malwarebytes it was working fine. Just wanted to throw that out there in case anyone else encountered that issue. Thanks for all of your videos, Rich. Very informative. 73' -Keith

Although I have the IC-7300 radio control working perfectly, I can't get the logger to upload info from the radio. Maybe I need to read the HRD user's guide some more, but I feel I am missing some little setting to make it work. I was hoping this video would help me figure it out, but alas, it didn't. I am using the latest version of HRD. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks Rich.
Hello and thank you for commenting. Is HRD Logbook connected to HRD Connect (rig control)? Please explain what you mean, "logger to upload from radio" Rich, K0PIR
Brennan Long Nice to hear from you and great question. Does it show up in the comments field or extended exchange field in HRD? I am not sure I’m not near my computer now I’ll have a look when I get back home. Thanks again best 73!
@@HamRadioAdventures It does not. I did import it from n3fjp after importing from n1mm. I will have to see in a few hours for the cwt cw contest if it will work.
Hi Thanks for your videos , but in rig control i have a voice message button that sends my recorded CQ call . Is it possible to set up a repeat loop says every 10 sec? thanks again
Hi Martin, thank you for the comment here and thank you for watching the videos. I use the voice recording and playback on the ICOM 7300 menu. It is easy to repeat it from there. I can’t say I have used the playback from HRD software. Let me know what you find out about HRD. Best 73 from South Dakota!

indeed. There should be a single video to describe "first time setup" - is there one?

I'm trying to set up the LOTW upload in HRD. However, the "station" is blank. I know what it is but I can't figure out how I input it.
Are you still using the double bazooka from ultimax ?
Yes I am. It's on 40 and 80 meters. I use it almost every morning. Thanks for commenting and best 73! - Rich, K0PIR
Ham Radio with K0PIR can you tell me the swr on 75 meters? Also if it’s more quiet than the doublets or center fed stranded dipoles?

Everytime I upload to QRZ, QRZ has the same distance to other station.....if station is 100 miles away it still has 1187 miles on every station logged
Do you have your lat/lon and/or 6 digit locator (grid square) entered in "My Station" ? ..... Tools, Configure, My Station
I do now! Thanks
