I would add, alltough we might be «whole» as we are, it requires tremendous strenght and courage to really stand ones own ground and to shine ones light on the world. For some people, the light inside of them is pretty dim, or so i have experienced about myself sometimes. And it’s not easy to figure out which process it is that can transform darkness into light, because maybe that path is a path of suffering. When i come to think about it, that sounds much like the path of Christ.
