I briefly knew an older gentleman for a couple of years until he unfortunately passed away in 2018. He worked as a mechanic/safety inspector in the Hoyt Lakes mine, probably passed by these engines every single day going to work without knowing how special they would be in the future.

Some of the best ore at Erie came from Dunka. It was said that it was used to high grade poorer ore.
