How do you make the belmonts look cool?! This is awesome, I wish the belmonts played like this in WiFi and not like a toddler pressing buttons like they think the 🅱️ button is a Skibidi toilet video
These are setup fancy kill confirms after basically already winning the game, we didnt see how the actual match went and belmonts require a lot of B pressing in their gameplay to actually get work done, that's how the character was designed, it's needed
Belmont compilation: amazing setups and execution. Also Belmont comp: 1:10 long. Wish Belmonts were just a little better kit wise, I think we’d see them more.
A bunch of these look staged or the opponents are just mindlessly holding shield. They seriously can't honestly be holding shield for that long at the ledge in damn near every clip lmao. The Sonic clip on Yoshi's Story was the only cool combo.
@AMoodytable You can roll out of flurry rush ( or any multihit for that matter ) after 11 hits. The game let's you buffer a frame 1 intangible roll after the 11th hit of any multi-hit so scenarios like getting pinned against a wall with an Inkling infinitely jabbing you doesn't happen. Or during doubles where your teammate is out and you get locked in shield between 2 opposing multihits in a small enclosed space, because again, the rapid jabber is actively pushed away from the opponent to prevent it from going on forever. Additionally, in the clips posted, assuming the players getting shield broken aren't dogshit, it seems very suspicious that they aren't getting shield poked or atleast attempts to shield sdi away. It looks to me as if they're actively HELPING the Belmont player get the clip, adding to my suspicion that it's staged. The slight pause between each clip to allow the Belmont to setup these shenanigans at ledge. The fact that it's always in the corner and the opponent's don't even try to drop shield and sdi away. These aren't Smash 64 shields or 64's ludicrous shieldstun, I'm pretty sure they could've rolled out when the holy water ran out. Holy water does both negative shield damage and shield stun. You wouldn't be locked into it for that long unless they got hit by returning cross-> immediate holy fire but even then, it wouldn't be enough to totally lock them in shield for a third hit like the clips would imply.
I must say the holy water ones look a little bit sus but the returning cross and specially the axe have enough hitstun so that u can combo into each other, so yeah some of them do look staged (kazuya) but the rest look pretty real. Also from a belmont main, every time that i've breaked an shield in a torunament and when i'm playing with my friends is on ledge, remember that belmonts have an amazing ledgetrap; in my experience when I have an oponent in a 30 second loop on the ledge they tend to shut down their brain and allow these risky plays to happen, and most of the combos and setups that belmont mains practice are for ledge situations since, again, a good part of their gameplan revolves around having the oponent permastuck on the ledge
@silverrath I play on arenas and elite occasionally. Every clip is versing random people of all different skill levels so basically in this instance they just held shield too much. That and Axe shield stun is 🔥
The last one was misplaced in my opinion. I am honestly not very impressed by doing a silly combo when you can just do a charged forward smash instead. The kills on Sonic and Kazuya though are MUCH much cooler since he needed to actually get those combos in order to get the kill on a healthier, more valuable stock.
We lab cool combos at kill percents because they are cool, not because they are practical. All the combos were performed with high stock leads from Alazoneia with the opponent being at last stock anyways, why not try to style on the opponent?
when he gets the shieldbreak and does side-b in the opposite direction you know you're about to get swagged on
Or I fuck up. Totally didn't mess up twice last night 🔥🔥🔥
This is something my math teacher in high school would pull up and ask us to calculate trajectory of the setups and shit.
coolest math teacher of all time
@@tristandell ikr but I suck at math 🥲
Shit went from belmonts to pac-man real quick 💀
“Prepare yourself!”
Jesus Christ man, these are actually sick.
Not gonna lie, I'd rage quit so hard after any one after the 30 second mark
Ok that nair drag down into up smash was sick
The Belmonts are SICK! :)
The Terry one was fire!!!
Thank you! Learned it by watching a random Twitter clip years ago and since it's been my favorite combo they have
belmonts somehow being some of the lamest and coolest characters at the same time:
I'd still say there's far worse but I get why he gets the hate and love simultaneously
The title is true ✅
How do you make the belmonts look cool?! This is awesome, I wish the belmonts played like this in WiFi and not like a toddler pressing buttons like they think the 🅱️ button is a Skibidi toilet video

That's every wifi player, sadly, just replace B with A sometimes.
I won't have to buy sauce for a whole year jfc
You're the goat, looking good!
gonna use these bro, preciate
It's really hard to say the Belmonts have sauce. If anything they have....toppings.
There is nothing saucy about this footage. It's so viscous I can see every individual frame. Good gameplay tho
I never learned how to play this character properly but damn those combos are sick asf
They are a little tricky at first glance but their conversions become second nature with enough practice
Yeah, totally not staged bro. That kazuya just fell asleep on his shield button.
Have you ever heard of a combo video lmao
Where was the claim that these were real matches
With enough damage, some moves lock you into shield.
Ken and Ryu have combos that do just that.
@@tinyt.w.i.m7291 That's crazy man, I didn't know this was a Ken & Ryu video
not uncommon for wifi players to make mistakes like that tbf
@@Gins.why are you being snarky lol they're just using Ken and Ryu as examples of high shield stun which Belmont axe also has
Sick

The title doesnt lie these are really saucy
Do you ever mess up a combo or do you always manage to pull it off?
I both pull em off and mess up a lot so it's a mixed bag
@@alazoneia oh ok
Impressive.
Based Castlevania enjoyer
This is ridiculous, if i were suffered one of those i would have quitted smash forever😂
Does the tip of the whip do more shield damage?
It does more damage in general, which translates to more shield damage for obvious reasons.
