Welcome to Pentaholics Anonymous. We meet nightly wherever someone is watching a Pentatonix video for the first time. We aren't looking for a cure, quite the opposite. We enjoy our addiction and try to drag others into it using five part harmony. Have you heard them do "Hallelujah" yet? I think it's the best thing, even after ten years of perfecton, to come out of their mouths. There's been only one change of personnel. They traded one bass singer for another. Everyone else is the same. Kirstie and Mitch are Chameleons and look different every time you see them.
My name is Miranda. I have been simping for PTX since their first performance on the Sing Off. Nice to meet you. No plans to try to wean myself off anytime. Like, ever.
So true! PTX productions are huge and the talent goes way beyond the five we see on screen. A look at the Behind the Scenes video for their latest “The prayer” is an eye opener. They really do think of everything and plan to the finest detail.
You've just experienced what Pentaholics call the "Wall Of Sound". Pentatonix has won 3 Grammy Awards 1st was for "Daft Punk", 2nd was "Dance Of The Sugar Plum Fairy", 3rd was for a collaboration they did with Dolly Parton and her song "Jolene". I also usually recommend Hallelujah, Bohemian Rhapsody, Imagine (be prepared to shed a tear) and any of their Christmas music. But really anything you choose will be great. Also they have had only one member change and that was with the Bass singer the original Bass was Avi, he left on good terms and helped them find his replacement whose name is Matt. The other members are the same but 2 of them change their look often (Mitch and Kirsten). Have fun going down the Pentatonix rabbit hole and you'll have a lot of company down in the hole with you.
1st two Grammys were for the arrangements and the academy added the phrase ' A Cappella' to their category so they could be included. Jolene was a performance Grammy
“Sorry, Simon & Garfunkel”. I. Am. Screaming. 😂 I think you’ll find yourself saying that quite frequently if you continue your PTX journey. I’ve been listening to them since they debuted on the TV series The Sing Off 10+ years ago and they never cease to amaze and surprise. Hallelujah is indeed insane and Bohemian Rhapsody is completely bonkers. Reactors have gotten around the copyright issue with a filter over the video and pausing during the song. Enjoyed your reaction. Hope you’re able to react to more. Their Christmas music also slays with some really ingenious arrangements. Enjoy! eta: one year later, still my favorite reaction to this song. 😘
And if you choose to battle the copyright monsters by pausing, it isn't necessary to apologize for doing so. We know you have to do it and trust me, all the true Pentaholics have seen the official video before checking out reactions.
Have to say that was my favourite line sorry Simon & Garfunkel 😂 great reaction and new sub here. Look forward to seeing more ptx reactions and welcome down the rabbit hole 😂
Mitch and Kirstie are chameleons. They can change their looks for every video. These 5 people are the most talented people performing today. There’s a looooong list waiting for you 🤣🤣🤣
A couple of things: they've made a promise that they'll never record anything they can't perform live. Also, this song is straight up simple compared to some of the other crazy stuff they've done. Still amazing, and I'm convinced the 4 main singers and the one guy that left in the past would be ranked among the top 100 singers in the world. The beatboxer is definitely top 10 in the world.
Also, when you get a copyright strike, there is a form you can fill out on RUclips to declare it is a review of copyrighted material and thus is not subject to a copyright strike. It takes a little digging, but the form is there and you can get the video reinstated.
The girl, Kirstin, is the same. She and Mitch change their looks constantly so that confuses people. The only change is their newer bass since 2017 , Matt. He replaced the original bass, Avi. Scott is the same too. So just one member change in their 10 year career. Recommend their Amazing Grace, Come Along, and I Just Called Say I Love You. Use the live performance of Hallelujah from their Christmas Special. It’s has good as the official video. Also, Bohemian Rhapsody is jaw dropping. You may need to use video filters along with the pauses to help get past the copyrighting. It’s their record label that causes the problems.
Since you mentioned the live performance of Hallelujah being the same as the official video, Pentatonix doesn't release an official video for a new song until they feel they can reach that same level in live performances.
After decades of loving the Simon & Garfunkel version of this song, I have to agree that this is worlds better. Yes, you MUST watch their version of “Hallelujah” - the music video. It will blow your mind, and I believe I am right when I saw that it is their most popular video at over 600 million views.
@@SmokeyTheBandit TY for this comment--you led me to greatness! Listened to the official video first and the Conan live appearance second, wow. I did not think the original could be topped until the Pentatonix. And that that could be topped seemed inconceivable . . .
So, Pentatonix: formed in 2011 for the purpose of competing on the television a capella contest show The Sing-Off. The nucleus of the group was three friends who had known each other from early adolescence as they participated in various youth choir and musical theater programs in the suburbs of Dallas, TX: Scott Hoying (tall blond baritone), Kirstin Maldonado (originally mezzo-soprano, now considers herself an alto), and Mitch Grassi (tenor/countertenor), known as The Trio from the group they formed in high school. It was suggested (by the man who would become their arranger, Ben Bram) that they add a vocal bass (that is, a bass singer who could imitate a string bass or bass guitar) and a beatboxer to make up the five members required by the show. The original bass, whom you saw in Mary Did You Know, was Avi Kaplan, who departed in 2017 and was replaced by the man you see here, Matt Sallee. Beatboxer Kevin Olusola is the group's Renaissance Man - discovered by his future group members in a viral video where he played cello while he beatboxed, he was finishing the pre-med program at Yale, after having completed a year abroad in China, where he gained fluency in Chinese. You can find all the Sing-Off episodes online, plus more than 200 other songs by Pentatonix, here on RUclips. Note that Mitch and Kirstin change their looks frequently. Some of it is just natural - they were just 19 at the time of the Sing-Off and are now approaching 30 - and some is fashion choices. Sngs - some of my favorites in various categories: *Covers* Daft Punk medley, Imagine, Attention, Blinding Lights, Butter x Dynamite (mash-up of two songs from Kpop group BTS); *Christmas* Little Drummer Boy, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, What Christmas Means to Me; *Originals* Love Again, Can't Sleep Love, Coffee in Bed, Happy Now, Petals.
You just listened to 5 of the most talented young people on the planet. Hallelujah has over 600 million views, its widely popular. Looking forward to your next PTX reaction
It’s amazing that there are no instruments it’s so full. I think they did a cover of the Disturbed version. Everybody has the same reaction to hearing Pentatonix for the first time. (WTF did I just listen too, how is this even possible) Mind Blown. I think you are now a Pentaholic. Someone who can’t get enough of the Pentatonix
Right out of the gate, he goes “okay they’re legit.” Then he’s more and and more in awe as the song progresses. I still go “no way, wait, what did they just do” when I listen. Each one of them is endowed with extraordinary musical gifts, and all together their sound is just otherworldly.
I love love love watching people discover PTX.. they are unreal and insanely talented. Even better, it is even better live. I have seen them 2 times and was gobsmacked!!❤
Now that you have a taste of their talent, you’ll want to listen to Hallelujah, Bohemian Rhapsody, and Amazing Grace. They have many more great songs . Great reaction. You really appreciate their talent.
PTX, just 2 weeks ago dropped their 8th Christmas album, " Evergreen ", along with 2 MVs, " I just called too say I love you " & " The Prayer ", please react too the The Prayer, it is exquisite!!😎👌
It's interesting that Simon and Garfunkel did Sound of Silence three different ways. They did a folk version, a soft rock version, and a full rock version. This version is similar to Disturbed's version, but the harmonies are delicately intertwined in a way to make it Pentatonix's own. Loved your reaction. So much more to hear. Welcome to the rabbit hole.
It never fails to move me that they are SO into what they do…each member is giving their all and then some…they are so caught up in the music that you, as a listener, can’t help but being swept along!!! They’re kinda like “Lays potato chips”…you can’t eat just one! So, that being said, welcome to the rabbit hole that IS Pentatonix !
A lot of the Pentaholics say that Pentatonix does not make a cover of a song but remakes/improves on the song as they cover it. Often having five people is an advantage. Being acapella might be expected to take away from a song but, due to their various talents, it does not do that. They don't have to share the limelight. Each of them IS a light. They have so many songs that show their talents in such unexpected ways. They have written original songs, added a bit of a musical instrument here and there, collaborated a few times, and generally will not disappoint. Please keep going.
I’m back! I really must say I’ve watched 100’s of times on reactions to this - you win! Best reaction EVER! I’m wondering if Simon and Garfunkel have heard this rendition? Now there’s a reaction video! Thank you! ♥️
I actually had a chance to react to Hallelujah but it was blocked :(. I am disputing it and hope it gets released. That being said, you are right! It was INCREDIBLE!
Ok so I've been down the rabbit hole of sound of silence for two hours. By various artists. This one is the second best I've seen. I must admit I'm hooked on disturbeds version, so raw and powerful, gorgeous instruments and video. Pentatonix is absolutely delightful and had it's powerful, emotional moments. Well done!!
Love seeing someone discover Pentatonix for the first time. You've entered a very deep rabbit hole with hundreds of wonderful songs. May I suggest that you do a few of their most well known songs first such as.... Hallelujah (639 million views), Bohemian Rhapsody, Amazing Grace and their just released amazing rendition of The Prayer. Their journey started in 2011 when, as schoolkids, they entered The Sing Off and won it. There were some fantastic performances - my favourite is the 12th Dog Days are Over. They have only had one change when Avi (the bearded Bass in the earlier recordings) left in 2017 to be replaced by Matt, wearing the white jacket in this one. I know you are going to enjoy your journey and all we Pentaholics will be following and waiting for your first "Mitch slap". (You'll know when it happens).
Welcome aboard! Pentatonix covers are often referred to as "upgrades" and will frequently blow you away. You may want to check out their covers of "Imagine" and "Bohemian Rhapsody" next as they are amazing. First time I heard their cover of "Bohemian Rhapsody" was when it first came out and Brian May was so impressed he posted it on several of his social media sites stating "enjoy!" It is a tribute to Queen so well done but I would probably not have listened to it right away without the encouragement of Brian May himself.
I love how you still gave Simon and Garfunkel props and said it’s a totally different sound. Pentatonix that’s not comparing apples to oranges, that’s comparing apples to automobiles! :-) Lol sending love to you and yours from Orlando Florida
About that light: You think it was accidental that they happened to shoot through a star filter to add light beams? That it just happened to be at the right height to back light Scott's hair? When you become more familiar with PTX, you'll figure out that NOTHING they do is by chance. I've watched your reaction seven times so far! You are SO entertaining with your analysis and explanation, I'm really eager to watch more of you!
This is my absolute favorite reaction, of any song ever, from any reactor on RUclips. Your visceral reaction to the song as it climbed was everything we love about reactions!
Never heard of Pentatonix until now and omg I am shook! I think most of your reactions I had the exact same, I was just mesmerised😍😍 Definitely going to check all their music out 🎶 Thanks for your reaction☺
The tall blond guy is Scott Hoying - Baritone; the girl is Kirsten Maldonado, Mezzo-Soprano; the guy with the hat is Mitch Grassi, Counter-Tenor; the guy with the white jacket is Matt Sallee, Basso-Profundo; the beatboxer is Kevin Olusola-Tenor/Beatboxer/Cellist/Cellist beatboxer. Scott, Kirsten, and Mitch met in a high school in Arlington, TX (between Dallas and Ft. Worth, TX). After graduation went to different colleges and majored in music. They got back together for a tv singing competition called "Sing-Off," but, they required 5 person groups, so Kevin and Matt came on-board through referrals. Listen to "Sound of Silence" with the metal group "Disturbed."
It was not Matt that performed with them in the competition. It was their original bass singer-Avi (who was in earlier videos like Hallelujah, Bohemian Rhapsody and Mary Did you Know). Avi left to spend more time with family and to not hold PTX back from tours as he didn’t want to travel away from family so much. He left on good terms and (I believe) even helped the group find his replacement-Matt.
I love first time reactions to Pentatonix. You are so cute! Once you experience PTX it is so hard to listen to other music. Welcome to the PTX world!!!
I love watching folks who are checking out Pentatonix for the first time. Your reaction was priceless! Enjoy your trip down the Pentatonix rabbit hole.
Great reaction, you’ve only just started to go down the rabbit hole it’s a journey you won’t regret. Their new release The Prayer is just magical. Subscribed. 🇬🇧
For those who grew up with Simon and Garfunkel’s Sound of Silence and loved that sound, this is extraordinary! It brings some to tears when mixing the feelings of the original with this amazing rendition. Not enough words to describe it.
Welcome to yet another Pentatonix upgrade. The great thing is that they will amaze you over and over again. Hallelujah, The Prayer, Imagine, Bohemian Rhapsody, New Rules/Are you that Somebody and Dance of the Sugar Plum Ferry are some of my favorites. And if you're wondering, yes they sound amazing live too😉
Does anyone else notice that when the bass is singing his verse, that they switch singers when it gets to his high part? They do this in a few songs...Hallelujah when her verse is over, Mitch takes over singing the Hallelujah, Scott does the bass when Avi is singing, etc.
I sing a capella. I love it. It's fun. I can not watch/listen to Pentatonix without choking up. Often, there are tears. They are just ... unfairly phenomenal.
I was actively sad to see that this was posted today because I was hoping to see more of your reactions to them ASAP! Glad to see this, very touched to see how shaken you were (SAME, TBH), and I suggest listening to Kiiara's song 'Gold' and then watching PTX's video of it. It's a master-class in dynamic range and quality of recording, so much so that it's easy to forget that Mitch is a freaking vocal BEAST.
Welcome to the land of the Pentaholics! Your reaction was spectacular. Every time you shook your head, or stared at the camera, or stopped the track, I thought, oh boy and he hasn't heard Scott finish, and he hasn't heard how smooth Mitch is, and he hasn't heard robust Matt drop the deep note, and he hasn't heard Kirstie belting, and has he seen Kevin stomping and clapping and whoosshing? This is one of Pentatonix's best arrangements with some of their classic elements of solos supported by the backing harmonies, each member getting to shine with their unique voice, the layering, the call and response, the harmonies, the crescendo and the PTX signature Wall of Sound. Happy to join your PTX journey.
Same gal, Kirstie, she just had different color hair. There was a different bass guy, Avi, he left the group in 2017 and now Matt is the bass guy, he's on the end with the white jacket. That would be Mitch, all in black, next to Kevin, and he is incredible, he's a Counter Tenor and can hit notes that soar into the clouds. Oh yeah and when Matt is singing, Scott (guy in the middle) takes over the Bass. You'll find that they all have incredible ranges. The beatboxer/singer/Cello player is Kevin. Welcome to the Pentatonix rabbit hole....once you start you can't stop....and their collection is around 287 video's.....Loved your enjoyment and reaction!! Their newest video is a cover of "The Prayer" and it is amazing, incredibly beautiful and mind blowing.
One of my most favorite things (with this song in particular) is watching people trying to comprehend what they're hearing and then just be at an absolute loss for words. It speaks to the incredible talent that Pentatonix possesses and how they can take a classic song like this, treat it with such respect but also make it truly unique. Whenever I introduce people to Pentatonix I use this song and it's really not that hard to see why.
I can't wait to see you react to more of their music! I highly highly recommend their cover of Bohemian Rhapsody. My dad loves the original Queen version but I catch him listening to their cover of it all the time.
This is my most favorite reaction of ALL the reaction videos!! I play it over & over! I love when you tell Simon & Garfunkel "I'm sorry, but this is so much better!" Keep up the great reactions!
Thank you for a great reaction. As a Pentaholic, it’s always fun to see a first reaction and you didn’t disappoint. In order to get your reactions past the copyright police, continue to pause as many times as you want because we Pentaholics don’t mind. A lot of reactors use a filter and we don’t mind that either. If you want to know more about PTX, try THE BEGINNERS GUIDE TO PENTATONIX.
You are a great reactor! You shocked delight is infectious. I’m looking forward to more of your Pentatonix reactions. It’s always an earful. Their arrangements are off the charts. So smart. Enjoy! 🤗
Their videos always remind me of technical demo videos for video games, demoing the capabilities of the hardware but at a level you’ll never personally experience lol
A couple of my fav 's from PTX are their newest one "The Prayer" - talk about being brought to tears, and "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" Even though they have been around for awhile one gets the feeling that they are just getting started on their careers being as young as they are.
Fun reaction! Bohemian Rhapsody is one of my favorites. Hallelujah is amazing. Their newest song The Prayer is stunning!. Oh, and everyone in the group has been there the whole time except for Matt(Bass)..on end in white jacket...he took Avi's place when he had to leave for personal reasons. Kirsten and Mitch(High Voice) change their looks all the time. It's fun to see what they will look like next.
Many people have said this and I agree .. S&G was a warning. Disturbed is anger because people didn't listen. Pentatonix is hope that we can still learn.
They just recently released a new cover of the Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli song The Prayer that has almost 2 and 1/2 million views already that is a vocal masterclass by them. Please check it out. I have subscribed to watch your reaction❣️
It sounds impossible after all their spectacular covers and original songs, but The Prayer truly is their best work to date.. I wouldn't be surprised if it earns them a fourth grammy. Best vocal group ever.
I envy you, you're going to be on a long journey, of absolute incredible music. Everything, every single song they write, or do a cover on is different, and done with such skill, and excellence from all the singers, to the music made with their voices, hands, and feet, with the exception of Kevin's cello playing, and their background chorus, and sounds are excellent. Their video scenes are well thought out from the backgrounds, to their mostly clothes matching. Theirs close to 200 songs, every one of them good to great, some made and done better than the originals. Kirstie, Scot, and Mich grew up together, Kevin is the cello player, and fantastic beatboxer. And in the beginning their was Avi, with the beard, after he left amicably, Matt came in as the new bass, and has got in very well. Enjoy your journey. Loved your reaction, be ready for what I hope will be many surprises, on on your many Pentatonix songs, and on your way to becoming a Pentaholic.
That is the same woman, she is a bit of a chameleon because she is constantly changing her looks!!!!!!! It's the same for the gentleman second from the right!!!!!! From left to right you have; Matt who replaced the original Bass of Avi Kaplan (who left the group amicably after his Mom was diagnosed with cancer, I believe) when you react to some of PENTATONIX'S earlier videos!!!! Kirstin is the woman who is the Mezzo Soprano of the group!!!! Scott is the tall blonde guy who is the Barritone, and takes over the Bass line when the Bass takes lead!!!! Mitch is the Couter Tenor of the group!!!!! Last is Kevin who is the Beat-Boxer/ Percussionist/ Cellist/ Singer extraordinaire!!!!!! Every single member of the group has insane range by themselves, and then when you put them together for the harmonies you have absolute perfection!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Of course Scott always handles the bass line when Avi or Matt is singing lead. You will see this trend if you watch them enough! Thanks for your wonderful reaction! You may want to think about getting a filter to put over the video, we would understand as PTX gets copyright claimed quite a bit! Take your pick of any PTX song or solo work and I will be happy!
Hi Chris, great reaction as always. The harmonies and individual singing was amazing!I got so many scalp prickles listening to that. And the percussion! I have heard Bohemian Rapshody by them ,you definitely need to check that one out,it is sublime.Wow.Pentatonix.
There has only been one change of personel. The bass in Mary Did You Know, left and was relaced by the new bass Matt. Kirsten, the girl, and Mitch the high tenor change their looks often. Welcome the the PTX rabbit hole.

Now that you have a taste of their talent, you’ll want to listen to Hallelujah, Bohemian Rhapsody, and Amazing Grace. They have many more great songs . Great reaction. You really appreciate their talent.
I am absolutely loving your reactions to Pentatonix,
Thanks so much!
they’re so amazing, imo they’ve never done a bad cover. their originals are really great too
Your smile dear Sir is so infectious and beautiful, my eyes start to water when I see it.
Aww, thanks Jenny! You just made me smile :)
Nothing better than watching a new reactor listen to Pentatonix. Thank you for your reaction.
Thanks Sheila!
I loved when you said Sorry Simon and Garfunkel. LOL. IT is amazing. still after so many times listening to this version. You listened to perfection.
PTX, just 2 weeks ago dropped their 8th Christmas album, " Evergreen ", along with 2 MVs, " I just called too say I love you " & " The Prayer ", please react too the The Prayer, it is exquisite!!😎👌
Never get tired of them.
Out of all of their songs this is their best one.
Thanks for the comments, Jason! Merry Christmas my friend.
Disturbs sound of silence is tops.!
It can't get any better.
You just went down the Pentatonix rabbit hole! They are absolutely the best at what they do. Enjoy your trip - it’ll be a wild and wonderful one!
anything these guys do never disappoint
Your reaction was a joy to watch. To see someone "discover" Pentatonix' brilliance is always fun. Enjoy the ride...we will!
Love love this reaction! So blown away.
Thanks so much!
Thank you! ♥️
Thanks so much!
You haven't lived until you've heard their Hallelujah!!!
I actually had a chance to react to Hallelujah but it was blocked :(. I am disputing it and hope it gets released. That being said, you are right! It was INCREDIBLE!
@@larryshair I'm glad you watched and enjoyed it! I really hope I get to see your reaction!! Fingers crossed!🤞😁
I love how Pentatonix squeezes every last drop of treasure from a song!!!
Well done!!
I was worried that your Head was gonna Explode.. Pentatonix has A way of taking covers and putting their spin on it the way they arrange them
lol, right
perfect definition of "Out of Many; One". They are simply exquisite.
You just listened to perfection.
Thanks so much!
This is my absolute favorite reaction, of any song ever, from any reactor on RUclips.
Your visceral reaction to the song as it climbed was everything we love about reactions!
Wow, thank you so much Ally for your kind words. I’m humbled. Blessing to you my friend.
Never heard of Pentatonix until now and omg I am shook! I think most of your reactions I had the exact same, I was just mesmerised😍😍 Definitely going to check all their music out 🎶 Thanks for your reaction☺
Thanks! That means alot as my hope in my reactions is to introduce new music to some of you as well! Glad to have been a part of your discovery!
Thanks!
Great reaction! I just subscribed with hopes of more Pentatonix reactions.
Thanks Susan! I will continue to put this incredible group in rotation, thanks!
I love first time reactions to Pentatonix. You are so cute! Once you experience PTX it is so hard to listen to other music. Welcome to the PTX world!!!
Thanks Jen! You are too kind 🧡
I love watching folks who are checking out Pentatonix for the first time. Your reaction was priceless! Enjoy your trip down the Pentatonix rabbit hole.
Thanks Pat!
I just got chills.
Great reaction, you’ve only just started to go down the rabbit hole it’s a journey you won’t regret. Their new release The Prayer is just magical. Subscribed. 🇬🇧
I watch reactions to Pentatonix , daily. The best comment I’ve ever heard, “ Sorry, Simon and Garfunkel “
Thanks Connie! I meant it lol
For those who grew up with Simon and Garfunkel’s Sound of Silence and loved that sound, this is extraordinary! It brings some to tears when mixing the feelings of the original with this amazing rendition. Not enough words to describe it.
"The Sound of Silence" is a fantastic song
Sounds of Silence really good song Simon and Garfunkel bring back memories
It’s very good you enjoy it Chris
I was actively sad to see that this was posted today because I was hoping to see more of your reactions to them ASAP! Glad to see this, very touched to see how shaken you were (SAME, TBH), and I suggest listening to Kiiara's song 'Gold' and then watching PTX's video of it. It's a master-class in dynamic range and quality of recording, so much so that it's easy to forget that Mitch is a freaking vocal BEAST.
I’m such a fan of this idea. First I love Gold. But watching the original and then PTX really helps people understand so much about their brilliance
Yeah, def listen to Gold, done live shows how insane their arrangements are and how supremely talented they all are, x
I just came here again to watch Chris say, "Sorry, Simon and Garfunkel. I'm so sorry!"
Smiling like a fool watching you. Welcome. It’s lovely here!
Thanks Sabrina!
Thanks Sabrina!
Love watching minds blow to the sounds of silence ❤🤘
I think the best thing about this video is seeing how much this video and song mean to you. Its good to see you happy.
Loved your reaction, it is my reaction every single time & I've listened to this a million times ❤️
Love your reaction ❤️thank you very much. They simply take a good song and make it unique..yes!!! Enjoyed your reaction
Thanks!!
Technically awesome. From an emotional standpoint, Disturbed blows this away. Both great for different strengths, but only one makes me cry.
Wow takes it to a whole new level! Thanks for sharing!
In one word, "Magnifico"!!!
Ooh, look! A new Pentaholic in the making! This is gonna be fun to watch.
lol, you missed it. Already became a Pentaholic lol!
So all they co is covers makes sense looking at history of them it was shit disturbed all way
@@neilwallis4062 They have original music as well.
You said it!..."WOW!!!" 🖐🏻
If you think this blew your mind, Bohemian Rapsody will set you on fire.
That is the same woman, she is a bit of a chameleon because she is constantly changing her looks!!!!!!! It's the same for the gentleman second from the right!!!!!!
From left to right you have;
Matt who replaced the original Bass of Avi Kaplan (who left the group amicably after his Mom was diagnosed with cancer, I believe) when you react to some of PENTATONIX'S earlier videos!!!!
JUST BEAUTIFUL
Of course Scott always handles the bass line when Avi or Matt is singing lead. You will see this trend if you watch them enough! Thanks for your wonderful reaction! You may want to think about getting a filter to put over the video, we would understand as PTX gets copyright claimed quite a bit! Take your pick of any PTX song or solo work and I will be happy!
chills and goosebumps, every time!
Hi Chris, great reaction as always. The harmonies and individual singing was amazing!I got so many scalp prickles listening to that. And the percussion!
I have heard Bohemian Rapshody by them ,you definitely need to check that one out,it is sublime.Wow.Pentatonix.
Welcome to the club...please continue listening to them. They will continue to knock your socks off
There has only been one change of personel. The bass in Mary Did You Know, left and was relaced by the new bass Matt.
Kirsten, the girl, and Mitch the high tenor change their looks often.
Welcome the the PTX rabbit hole.
Same girl, different colour of the hair! We love you Kirstie!
