    Just did it. Hope it’s going to help with tinnitus. I also have uber developed jaw muscles that I need to soften and shrink. Thanks for this technique. Will be doing it a few times a day.

    Wow, thanks Dr. What an eye opener, literally. After just one rep on both sides I feel a general sense of calm and can feel all the muscles in my head and neck relaxing.

Makes sense. My jaw has been so sore and feel a dull ear pain to match. Havent slept in 3 days more than 6 hours in total. I hope this helps. Thank you !!

    OMG. I’ve been treated for TMJ for over a year now. Orthotic for a year and just had a full mouth reconstruction. Had to, cracked 8 molars etc. One side of my jaw has healed, the other side is still giving us problems. This dang pterygoid is such a bugger. It’s actually impinging a nerve near my ear. I can feel it buzzing. Ugh!

    Hi Dr. Perry,
    I'm currently fixing my bite with braces. Can an unstable bite like mine where my back teeth don't touch at all cause the lateral pterygoid muscles to be constantly fatigued and aching? I also clench and possibly grind at night.
    I can literally feel the two of them ache, the pain is very localized and as I saw on the Internet, trigger points in them can also refer pain to the sinus area, which is where I feel pain the most, right behind the nose.
    Thank you. 🙂

    This muscle is aweful! Severe one sided migraine like headaches, jaw pain, deep earpain where I was convinced I had infections, specific toothpain where i was convinced I needed root canal treatments!!! Cheek pain, eyepain and above the eyepain, even trigemanial nerve pain, one sided throat pain and even tongue pain. Dizzyness! Yet I am a perfect picture of health but feel like dying!! Can't function because of this muscle. The longer it's hurting the more stiff my neck and shoulders also get. Ugh 😭 tinnitus on that same side has now started as well. What a mess. Started after extensive dental work for me.

    • @stopchasingpain
      @stopchasingpain  7 месяцев назад +2

      Yes sadly that muscle gets set off with dental work. Hope the reset gives you some relief

    • @theresajg11
      @theresajg11 6 месяцев назад +1

      Exactly the same situation for me! Sometimes at night, just sitting there, I can feel the whole side of my face throbbing. I hope you get relief. I am going to start these right now.

    • @TheNoepje
      @TheNoepje 6 месяцев назад

      @@stopchasingpain it actually did! I won't lie, relief didn't last too long but it did something. And since I've been in this chronic pain for years, it's a very positive sign that my body is still able to relief itself from pain.

    • @TheNoepje
      @TheNoepje 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@theresajg11 it did help me a little bit. But I am quite the heavy case, so every little bit that helps is something! This muscle is aweful!! The dental treatment were def the cause of this muscle going into spasm chronically. It thickens to a point where its rock hard! This one and the masseter and my traps and scm muscles are the main reason for my severe headaches. I call them tmj migraines.

    • @TheNoepje
