In 2013, The Pipeline From Hell went down at the Good Friday ride hosted on the Sabine River Rats hunting club. Countless attempts to pull the pit on the pipeline right of way, but without success, outside of Brian Briggs.
This year on Good Friday, the guys were back again to give it their best shot and try out the new mods from the off-season. The hole was just as bottomless and the mud just as thick!!

I love how most people on here like to say that is a poor person thing... Some of these guys put more money and time into their mud trucks then any of you have on anything in your life...

there having just as much fun with there families as the guy spending 50k or 200k on his truck
i know allot of poor people with more $ then they can spend
and a few very rich people who budget there $ every week just for groceries to feed there family
YES $ can help you live a rich and full life if you are a person that understand what real happiness is and it just so happens you have the $ or the ability to earn the $ that helps you live a full and wealthy and happy life at the same time

Great video of the drivers and their rigs. I like seeing the different configurations. If i had the money to choose between a Cummins Inline-6 or a Big block Chevrolet 582. Then hands down the 582. Mr. Briggs is awesome with his mud truck. I really do like all the rigs for their differences.

whats the point of have a truck jacked up that high when you dont even have any ground clearance that why they get stuck the bottom out there axles are steal low to the ground and the truck high in the air
Basics guys, wheel speed and momentum. with lifts that high and tires that big, some of you guys forget the basics of mudding. thats one narly mud hole though.

I wonder why more of them dont 'Moehawk' the rockwell bottoms. Seems thats what getting them stuck more often that not. The axles digging in. Or for that matter, why not run unimog 406 portal axles with a 4 ton rating and deeper gear reduction than a rockwell?

Why don't guy's realize when you go in mud like this, or any mud really, you need deep tread'd tire's? I mean DEEP tread, not just big rubber but DEEP tread. You can have all the HP, all the height and the biggest tires on the block but, if you don't have any tread,,,it don't matter. BTW, I am not saying, you will always get thru or out of the mud just because you have deep tread but, I guarentee you will do better than those that don't.. Just watch these and more video's, watch what trucks have deep tread and those that don't, and see who does better. Ford, Dodge, Chevy....don't matter as long as it is running well and has a good setup. Another question I wonder, why aren't Independent suspensions used more often? Seems to me like getting rid of that axle would help a bunch too...

All of us accept for a couple rigs live within 20 miles of each other in east Texas.
Randy Johns if he decided it would make for a decent video do you think some of the people would be willing to give some of the information on their rigs for the video?
I'm sure every one would we just don't get to in-depth with specs lol to many opinions and key board warriors lol we are all just good country folks having a good time.
