I picked up a 1200 T a few years back probably in 2016 or 15 and this was back when they actually numbered each watch. I didn’t notice any numbering on the back of yours so I am assuming this is no longer going to be a limited edition run. Mine is actually running off of the SW 200 also. They moved away from the ETA 2824 a few years ago. Personally the hairspring in the SW 200 is substantially better than the ETA. What a great review! I still have mine today and it is still running at an amplitude of 312 with a plus +-6 seconds a day...of course being a watchmaker I am able to regulate and service my own model however I have yet to see if I need to change the gaskets. I do not swim with mine very often it is a personal Grail. Really glad to see you having a 300 T they’re definitely a wonderful watch however I do not really think they are worth their asking price. Personally with everything that they have included onto the watch I think in reality these watches should be worth around $1300 Again thank you so much for the review glad you have one.

I enjoyed your comment I agree James Bond’s new omega is definitely overpriced I remember when the first one came out and it was about $3000 retail which even today is a pretty fair price considering what you get out of the watch.
Just curious.. why do you believe that the 300T is overpriced?? Is there a professional grade dive watch with a HEV and 1200m water resistance available on the market from another swiss manufacturer for less than $2,000?

Love Doxa, amazing watches with an original look and rich history. 👏 And probably the first brand that got me into watches because of the Clive Cussler novels I read as a kid. Will definitely have to get one someday.
I just got mine today. I repurchased this watch because like an idiot I sold mine a few years ago and always regretted it. It got mine on sale from Joma and l have to say I’m so stoked to have it back! Great video. You might be the only person that has actually mentioned that Jacques Cousteau wore a Sharkhunter version. Very cool.
I bought the aqua marine last week and think it’s one of the coolest watches out there . I’m having some problems with the movement but may just be settling in period . Would say the bracelet does have sharp edges on the bracelet clasp which isn’t great so will put mine on an isofrane . A point to note my experience of doxa customer service in Switzerland is very poor . Thankfully my AD is top quality and are holding a replacement for me should the movement fail to settle . Regardless of the teething problems absolutely no regrets this watch just oozes character and style definitely a keeper . Great review Arron..
The stainless steel you chose I think it looks even better than the rice beads one. Looks like one of those suits to protect you fron a shark attack.The 300T sharkhunter version on that strap, so fitting! Could you please share the details of that strap? I love the rubber version too so would probably get both.
Would’ve loved to see you use the caliper on the case and the bezel/dial to see what size the actual bezel/dial is Which would actually give a better idea of how the watch wears.
Very cool piece, I honestly thought it was a lot bigger than it actually is. The only reason I prefer the 200 is because I'm not a huge fan of the handset on this.
There are way to many homage watches of reasonably affordable enrty level watches. It's very boring and concerning how many shortcuts people are willing to take these days instead of working a little harder to attain something real, original, and of actual value. Cheers 😎👍

I wasn't sure because they advertised the power reserve at 38hrs which is indicative of the Sellita. I know it could be either depending on availability of the ETA as they dry up. Cheers Jason!!
They do wear differently 300 is slimmer on the wrist . Also 300 has more of a vintage aesthetic, smaller dial domed crystal. You are paying for cosc personally I don’t think it’s worth the mark up . But then again if you like how the 300 wears then you may think it’s worth it

Very cool piece, I honestly thought it was a lot bigger than it actually is. The only reason I prefer the 200 is because I'm not a huge fan of the handset on this.

The SUB 300 is COSC certified Chronometer, and the SUB 300T (the first general public diver's watch equipped with a helium release valve) isn´'t.
300T is the better built tool watch and is $600 cheaper.

Not for me. It's a 300m watch compared to the 300T at 1200m. It's COSC certified, that's what you're paying for.

No, it isn't. The 300T is actually the better watch. The COSC certification means nothing. Both watches have the exact same movement.
