I own a four drive bay but the trays seriously suck. The drives vibrate from time to time and I have to open the door and adjust the drive. I tried piece of paper and stuff. I think what I will do is run a thin strip of soft thin tape on the tray so that when it slides in it’s snug. That’s the only complaint I have otherwise it’s ok. I don’t have the RAID model it just single volumes in one case but if you have RAID software you can do what it otherwise doesn’t do. You can even use OWC RAID software which is good and easy to use.
Thank you for the review! I got this last year and built a raid 5 with 5 8tb HDD (32 TB usable). I haven't had any failures, but do you know how to rebuild a raid 5 when one HDD fails?
Ive been debating whether or not to get one, what with so many spin ups knocking about, and you've swayed me, I've just bought one. Cheers, Henry.

I have the yottamaster 4-bay, it's reliable. Never lost any data. Hope the power is enough for powering 5 bays 24/7
No speed test?
And no speed and sound test ?
Thanks for the video. Is it possible to see health info of the drives? Whats is the transfer speed between two drives on the same enclousure? Thanks
To view health, CrystalDiskInfo can still read the drives. Transfer files still go through the operating system so speed varies
Great video thanks for sharing. :)
Thanks for this video. I'm thinking about getting it.
yeah, it's great if you dont need any RAID configuration. i love it so far cause im backing directly to the cloud, no need for RAID

the model in the video has no raid.
It will rebuild automatically but you can also use the Yottamaster RAID Manager Software.
How is the speed? Read/Write?
As fast as the drive that's in
