+yaymath Because of you, I finally understand the Algebra concepts required to pass my class with an A, I'd like to thank you for making these videos, you're doing great!
I am in college online and have always been horrible in math. I have gone to my lecture videos and never seem to understand what I'm doing so glad I have found this I totally get it and don't feel so dumb when it comes to math. Thank you so much for the great instructions.
I am attending community college, despite paying for tuition, and my math lab and paying for math lab, I did not understand how to rationalize denominators. THANK YOU for actually teaching! Also, you answered the questions we are all thinking but cannot ask in this day of self taught, on-line learning.
I'm a freshman in high school and this really helped because the teachers don't ever explain clearly enough or actually attempt to help, so thanks for the clear learning instructions!
Your videos are fast becoming favorites of mine. You have been instrumental in several concepts my textbook does not show all the work for, or the "why" of the work. So, thank you for taking the time to record your lessons. I never thought I'd say this, but.... Yay Math!
thank you so much, i am in eight grade and at the end of each Tuesday we have an advanced math class for 30 min, and i feel like the teacher just kind of rushes through things and does the examples for us but whenever i need help i just look up yay math and you really go step by step in detail and have helped me a lot thank you.
you've seriously saved me this semester in college algebra. i wish i had teachers in high school that were as enthusiastic and willing to help their students as you are! thank you so much!
What school does he work at, I want to sign up lol. So clear and goes straight to the point. i've been trying to get radical expressions for a while now and didn't understand till i watched this video. Thanks so much!
Thanks so much! I've got finals on Tuesday and we're just learning this, and I don't understand it. I now understand it, and feel confident about acing the final!
I am an adult college student. First, I must thank you for making Algebra understandable, and bearable. Second, I have heard you say that people have requested certain problems. I would bebhonored if you could explain the steps to finding the domain of the following problem. The part that throws me off is the denominator that is just 21. Problem 144 - d^2 OVER 21 Thank you for your consideration and understanding in regard to this matter. Sincerely, Victoria Nye Brown
Thank you so much for your help! Taking an online Algebra class and the instructor leaves out precious info like this in her lesson modules. Greatly appreciate the instruction. 👍
holy ish this just taught me the entire lesson i slept through in my 80 person math class. saved me so much time trying to teach it to myself! thanks so much :)
Thank you for allowing us to participate in your classroom! Your fun and positive approach helps us realize that mastering Math/Algebra is achievable at any age and/or skill set.
I like the way you handle questions, by finding out at what point they got lost and then repeating why you did that and what they should be thinking about. Can you teach a class for math teachers and train them to use your method? Most just do damage and hate teaching, have no passion for what they do and seem like they ended up teaching math because they failed at engineering and just need some kind of paycheck.
I had to learn exponents as part of an ISU (independent study unit) for an AP class and you helped me a lot, thank you sir :-) (I watch a lot of your videos because it helps me, and makes me like Math).
You are the man! I have been reading my university text book on this subject matter but none has gotten into my head. Until, I stumbled into your videos which made me understand this process on radicals a lot lot better. You are of a great help to us students. Gracias amigo:D
This has seriously helped me so much! I just couldn't understand radicals no matter how many times people tried to explain them to me, but this is something I could actually understand! Thanks!
Thank You so much! I have been looking for videos on the last two problems and finally found a teacher that helps me understand the concept very well. Im in Math honors and my teacher explains everything to fast. This was useful I need to know it for my test
I think we can have radicals in the denominator. The reason you give, will imply that we can't have radicals in the denominator or nominator. Love your videos so much.... they help me a lot. cheers.
I love you, like I love you, like if I had words that expressed how much I love you for this, I would say it but there aren’t. Like thank you so much, we are at the end of our semester and finals are coming and my professor is rushing through the lessons and his accent is very strong and he talks like he is rapping. He’s great at math trust me on that but most of us don’t just need the visual, we need to hear the explanation as well which he has a hard time doing. So thank you so much, god bless you
***** I'm not sure what the heck that comment was about... I've watched this video and a few others by him and found them pretty helpful. Sorry, I think someone else in my home posted that comment
I posted this awhile ago Lol. I was saying he had videos that helped me tremendously and hopefully if I ever needed help again in the future I was going to look for videos through him. :) thank you!
Omg im dying in calculus 1 because I forgot all this algebra, your videos are definitely going to help me succeed in my calc 1 class this summer. Thank you very much for your free videos. So sad to have to learn algebra in calculus lol. But hey I'm trying.
he like seriously can answer every question. i love it! keep doing what you do cause your great at it, and thanks for this video. finals tommorow oh snap.
Now I’m starting to understand and am starting to feel there’s a chance I can pass my math class. My own teacher hasn’t been nearly as helpful as this single video.
Sir i really like the way you teach and i remembered everything that we discussed with our math teacher. Thank you so much! I just wish you were my math teacher. 😢
I wish I had a math teacher like you. You are a good teacher. Can you explain also the next problem for me? 2√3 divide by √2) power 3 greets from The Netherlands
Where would I encounter a problem like the first one? I appreciate knowing how to solve it, I'd also like to know where it came from. Is it something a botanist would encounter, a physicist? What maths would create a radical denominator? There, that's what I was trying to ask.
if you have a square root in the denominator couldn't you just square the entire problem to get rid of the square root on the bottom? also in the last problem wouldn't it be +/- 3 because of the square root rule of two negative numbers can make the same number in the square root (in this case 9). as well as the answer being 3i because the square root was -9 so that would simplify to I square root of 9 (to take the negative sign out) then simplify it further to 3i?
At 13:00 it got weird. Could he better explain why that equals d to the 100? Why is the sq root of d to the 100 : d to the 50. Why was d to the 50 written twice? Thank you for being so patient. My math teacher let's his annoyance show and I cant ask him to do another one or ask a question when he goes "any questions?".
when you times exponents together, you add the exponents together so A^50 * A^50 = A^100 the same goes for divining exponents, you subtract them. if you had 5A^5 *5A^10 you would times the first number like a regular multiplication, and add the powers so it would = 25A^15 your comment is like a month old but hopefully I helped ya 😎

Watching this in 2018, it's still useful even till this day, what a great teacher...

youre a great teacher, i love that you let them ask as many questions as they need
Please move to New York be my teacher because you sir are amazing
why can't all teachers be like you… you have helped me a LOT…
you made this so much more simple then my math teacher did! Thank you for your help.
I think we can have radicals in the denominator. The reason you give, will imply that we can't have radicals in the denominator or nominator. Love your videos so much.... they help me a lot. cheers.
THANK YOU!
your literally the reason I am passing 9th grade algebra right now ,you are a god .
Hailey Dawkins you're*
OMG 13:00 IS WHAT I'VE BEEN CONFUSED ON. ON HOW THEY SWITCH SIDES OF THE RADICAL AND WHAT NOT THANK YOU. MORNING OF MY ALGEBRA 2 TEST
Dude. You make math awesome

Great explanation straight to the point, entertainer, thanks for the videos. It’s very helpful than u think
This man is my savior!
You just saved me from failing Algebra, thank you so much.
Lol same here

Thank you so much but I'm asking how did u found the square root of 4 it's confused me a bit but I'm thankfull to follow you its help me a lot
Thanks
Your better than MY algebra teacher
You're a great teacher!
13:13-13:16 Loved the IT reference
You could simplifying your answer by 4 and it would be 5-sq3/6.
this really helped me. I hope i pass my semester exam tomorrow. thank you
did you pass?
the last question can still be simplified from 12+6[3 to 6+3[3 right?
Math must impress the ladies, I better watch more of your videos.
This was great!
Where were you when I was in high school??? :/ Love your videos though! It's definitely getting we through college(:
if you have a square root in the denominator couldn't you just square the entire problem to get rid of the square root on the bottom? also in the last problem wouldn't it be +/- 3 because of the square root rule of two negative numbers can make the same number in the square root (in this case 9). as well as the answer being 3i because the square root was -9 so that would simplify to I square root of 9 (to take the negative sign out) then simplify it further to 3i?
and how the numerical coefficients are displayed in the simplified answer.
YES SIRR..GOOD INSTRUCTION
Thank you very much
God bless you
i easily forget the math lessons but this helped me remember everything lol
this is helpful!
i wish i had your class, were i actually understand what your saying unlike my teacher in school
