    I'm glad that math teachers are utilizing RUclips more productively. My math teacher isn't that bad, but I still can't understand her lectures at the end of the day, and I spend hours upon hours doing math homework at tutoring.

That's why students and viewers love you and your classes. I'm lucky to have that teacher in high school or I will end up hating math my entire life lol. and we are lucky to have you here to save our lives.

    @ 20:11 X = 2 also works! The square root of 2 + 2 is the square root of 4. The square root of 4 is 2. 2 squared = 4. 2 - 4 = -2 Negative 2 squared = -2 * -2 which = 4. 4 = 4.

    • @joaomane4831
      @joaomane4831 Год назад

      I see your point but remember the original equation which was Square root of x+2 equals x - 4. If you plug 2 into it you will get square root of 2 + 2 which is 4 and then square root of 4 is 2 and on the right side you get 2 - 4 which is -2.
      You don't square both parts because that's the method we used to solve the equation but that doesn't belong to the equation, per se.

    It took me quite a bit to buy the fact that that one radical equation had NO solution. So to convince myself I had to take each member and make y-functions out of them and then proceeded to graph. Seeing that the graphs could not intersect...then that was when I was convinced.
