Thanks so much. I'm in the 11th grade and I'm taking Algebra 2/ Pre-Calculus and this was sooo helpful. You and your class explain things very clearly to me rather than my teacher.
I've been struggling w/ radical equations for 2 weeks now. Took me just one watch of 2 of his videos and I completely understand now. Wish my teachers were as entertaining as you!
I'm glad that math teachers are utilizing RUclips more productively. My math teacher isn't that bad, but I still can't understand her lectures at the end of the day, and I spend hours upon hours doing math homework at tutoring.
Omg I have been studying for my math midterm for days and I couldnt just learn to solve these problems till I got the brilliant idea to use RUclips because i learn visually you know and snooping around I found your page! You are my life saver! I finally got it!
This guy is SO GOOD AT TEACHING!!! He basically taught me better in less then 30 minutes than my teacher did 1 hour and 30 minutes. I WISH HE WAS MY TEACHER!!!!
I had a chemistry teacher in high school who was amazing. He made hard stuff logical and digestible for everyone. You are even better. YAY for yaymath!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Morgan! Thanks so much for the message and what a story. Perhaps you can inquire whether your school arranges for guest speakers and I can come visit. Let me know, I'd be honored to be there.
Also the fact that the kid said "pass" and the teacher said "totally fine" shows that he is truly a fantastic teacher. He is treating his kids with respect.
Thank you so much! You are my new go to math teacher, since mine doesn't get through to me at all! I also love all the effort you put in to get your students to have fun while learning! :)
I loved math because of my high school math teacher. actually, it is my favorite subject. And when I saw your videos I noticed that you remind me of my teacher a lot. That's why students and viewers love you and your classes. I'm lucky to have that teacher in high school or I will end up hating math my entire life lol. and we are lucky to have you here to save our lives.
thank you! my teacher spent two hours explaining this to my class, but it made no sense. your video made everything simple and clear! thank you thank you thank you!
@ 20:11 X = 2 also works! The square root of 2 + 2 is the square root of 4. The square root of 4 is 2. 2 squared = 4. 2 - 4 = -2 Negative 2 squared = -2 * -2 which = 4. 4 = 4.
I see your point but remember the original equation which was Square root of x+2 equals x - 4. If you plug 2 into it you will get square root of 2 + 2 which is 4 and then square root of 4 is 2 and on the right side you get 2 - 4 which is -2. You don't square both parts because that's the method we used to solve the equation but that doesn't belong to the equation, per se.
no way, the third question is on my hw, better yet, THATS WHAT I NEEDED HELP ON TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO YAY MATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS MR.Adhoot
I love this guy!! He is amazing at explaining concepts. These kids are so very lucky to have him. Thank you for all the videos. I was cracking up at the "information overload!"
ok so on 6:40 how would you find out that it was five? I understand the -5 time -5 times -5 is -125 but if it was a different number finding its cube root may not be that easy. Is there a way to find the cube root of a number?
im 36, love math, its been a while and this problem came up on facebook i couldnt get and pist me off lol i needed to comeback and retrain my brain. my kids to young for algerbra, trig or calc in school so came to RUclips, thanks for video
am havin a nightmar of solving this probe, (2-3) rise to power 2, cos am preparing for an exam this year. thank u teachers for inspiring us. God bless u guys. cheers and HAPPY NEW YEAR.
at the 13 mins and 45 secs in this video, why did you divide by -6 in both sides? aren`t we supposed to divid both sides by +6 since -6 was already there? PLEASE REPOND THIS CONFUSION, I WILL BE WAITING...
i have a question: for the problem at 21:49 when you plugged 2 back into the equation you said that the -2 isn't the same as the square root of four, but i thought the square root of four is both negative 2 and positive two?? or is this a problem where we assume all answers are positive?
I love your channel each of your videos blow my mind I mean I understand it but it just blows my mind how it works out. When I first look at it im like holy shit! Now after I saw you work it out im thinking this isn't so bad kinda fun.
No Sean, if you plug in 2 for x then it will be 2+1=3 and then you have to square 3 (i don't hav a calculator) so the square root of 3+2 will not equal 4
It took me quite a bit to buy the fact that that one radical equation had NO solution. So to convince myself I had to take each member and make y-functions out of them and then proceeded to graph. Seeing that the graphs could not intersect...then that was when I was convinced.
I'm actually loving this classroom. Everyone has such a good attitude and students aren't afraid to participate. Good work, my friend
So True
Yep
Even though I've never met you, you are the best math teacher I've ever had.
Why the fuck do i pay for college? This man accomplished what my teacher failed to do in an hour of teaching...in less than 25 minutes!!

Thanks so much. I'm in the 11th grade and I'm taking Algebra 2/ Pre-Calculus and this was sooo helpful. You and your class explain things very clearly to me rather than my teacher.

Sincerely appreciate how you treat your students. You're wonderful man!!
Also the fact that the kid said "pass" and the teacher said "totally fine" shows that he is truly a fantastic teacher. He is treating his kids with respect.
Thank you sooo much! I totally needed this after missing school for a whole week and missing this lesson. Bless your soul!!!
i like this guy! makes it fun...wish my prof. was like him...
I respect this teacher so much so enthusiastic thank you for doing a double radical equation
Thank you so much! You are my new go to math teacher, since mine doesn't get through to me at all! I also love all the effort you put in to get your students to have fun while learning! :)
I love this man and his students. I was wondering, is there the next part of the video, dealing with radical inequalities?
Love the way you teach ! better than my professor in college ! thank you !
I loved math because of my high school math teacher. actually, it is my favorite subject. And when I saw your videos I noticed that you remind me of my teacher a lot. YAY MATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS MR.Adhoot
where did he get -20 from at 5:57
6n-5=-125
You add 5 both sides
6n= -120
Then divide both sides by 6
6÷6=1
-120÷6= -20
Very clear and concise. Yay for YAYMATH!!
"Are those videos from 2006 really helping"? Damn.
hahah
same
I love this guy!! He is amazing at explaining concepts. These kids are so very lucky to have him. Thank you for all the videos. I was cracking up at the "information overload!"
this guy is a genius helping me out right now thank you SIR!
I've stumbled across this channel a few times this semester. These are REALLY good videos man!!! Good Work
Omg!! Thank you yaya math!!!!! You rock!!!!!
You are the most most "radical" ^2 EVER!!! Love YAYMATH
You are a math angel!!
The first solo was fire
14:43 the square root of one is also negative one so the solution could be correct????
Also the square root of 16 could also be negative 4
you're a good teacher man. I watched some of your other videos too
You are awesome. I watched so many vids. right away I got it watching yours. Thanks! and forget those haters.
you are an awesome teacher and thank you for being so great with kids.
Best math teacher i never had...

am havin a nightmar of solving this probe, (2-3) rise to power 2, cos am preparing for an exam this year. thank u teachers for inspiring us. God bless u guys. cheers and HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Shouldn't 2 work also (second to last problem)? I keep plugging it in and it works. Thank you.
at the 13 mins and 45 secs in this video, why did you divide by -6 in both sides? aren`t we supposed to divid both sides by +6 since -6 was already there? PLEASE REPOND THIS CONFUSION, I WILL BE WAITING...
the best teacher of mathematics i seen before 👍❤️ keep going up 💪
I love you dude you always got my back!
10:44 why is there a +x?
I like ur video it makes my maths knowledge better and my marks too. thanks.
Amazing teacher!
super helpful. thanks
these students are lucky to have you as a teacher. . .
this video helps me a lot compare to my teacher in school.. Thank you sir ^_^ i really appreciate your teaching methods ^_^
Thank so much !
So helpful!
at 10:40, how did we get + x?
the square root of x times the square root of x is equal to the square root of x squared which cancel out and you are left with x.
got it! thanks.
Thank you sir, you are a fine educator!
What grade is this
15:03
this video helped a lot! wish my teacher were like this, mine laughs at us whenever we ask questions.
Lol mine too he enjoys seeing us suffer T^T
square root of 1 could either be 1 or -1 so the answer for the problem in 8:33 is 16
Thanks, this helped
+Juan Gonzalez bdjh lol
Anyone else think this guy reminds you of Ezra from PLL???
ALicia c STOP 😂
YESSSSSS I THOUGHT THAT TOO. I'm totally aria in this situation
@Aliciac
ALicia c
Such a cool teacher.
i have a question: for the problem at 21:49 when you plugged 2 back into the equation you said that the -2 isn't the same as the square root of four, but i thought the square root of four is both negative 2 and positive two?? or is this a problem where we assume all answers are positive?
Im moving to California to be his student
Yo! I really got through my math classes with this guy! lol
GOOD VIDEO...THANKYOU
really helped good looks
this dood is highing my math grades
This guy was amazing
Enjoying your videos. For problem 3, wouldn't -1 also be a possible answer to the square root of x-15 (and therefore x=16 could be a solution)?
It took me quite a bit to buy the fact that that one radical equation had NO solution. So to convince myself I had to take each member and make y-functions out of them and then proceeded to graph. Seeing that the graphs could not intersect...then that was when I was convinced.
Omg thank you soo much! I'm having my Math final exam tomorrow and this lesson was the only thing I couldn't get! thank you you saved my marks😀
God bless you Math Magician
Pretty animated class!!
