It sounds like their idea for a "remixed set" is combining a previous bonus effect (e.g. Season 1) and appearance (e.g. Season 2), so that the S4/Fated tier is potentially distinct from previous, though I don't think they mean to make any actual effect changes outside of some light tuning.
