The first thing I noticed is that our class tree is still a dumpster fire. You literally can't spec the tree if you only take abilities that you can either use in cat form, or buff cat form. There are 25 actual abilities in the class tree. It is absolutely terrible. Our range got gimped, and the spec rework feels even more starved than it did before. We still have 6 talent points for Berserk/Incarn and all in all Feral feels worse than before. They still haven't done anything about Regrowth being a clunky self heal, since if you do use it at the wrong time it will literally yeet you out of cat form unless you're moving, and the macro tech used to fix that doesn't seem to work anymore. My time on the Beta was aggravating, because Bear Weaving is trash, there is no UI indicator to track the buff, there is still no indicator for Sudden Ambush and the UI element for Apex Predator/Ravage is just an icon change. If the person who is in charge of Feral were doing any other job in any other field they would be fired. All they did was buff the numbers instead of fixing any core issues. They added Snapshotting back in which no sane person likes, and they threw our energy regen into the trashcan, and doubled down on giving you random combo points when you incarn -- which defeats the ENTIRE point of combo points (Having direct control over setting up your damage) -- cause now they just rain in over time and it feels like garbage. Druid of the Claw was such a golden opportunity to make Cat / Bear weaving a thing.. letting you ebb and flow between cat and bear while your energy recharges... or added some really cool visual effects with like letting you use some empowered bear form abilities from cat form. They could have fixed a bunch of sound effects/made the visuals better... They could have done so many amazingly cool things. Instead they treated the entire druid situation like some college homework assignment they didn't care about and did just enough to make the teacher not fail them. It's never been more apparent that they don't understand the class, they don't play it, and they don't care about making it fun or cool. Fluid form is literally the coolest thing we got, and they completely half assed it and even after moving it, still put it in a stupid spot on the class tree. I've never been less excited about an expansion tbh.

oh damn, did the issue u talked about here is still not fixed? ty for information about the AUE Ferotious bite, i didn't know about it. Is it still worth to apply Rake with Tigers fury and w8 until it's ends before reapply new? or after TF ends the damage just dropps?

I actually really don’t mind the energy changes that much. It’s kinda nice not just spamming and actually having to really be mindful of what you’re pressing. Hero talents are not the best, but Wilds is pretty nice, and DoTC ravage animation is pretty sweet. Overall right now the damage isn’t that bad either.. some really good burst too

What are you looking at and how do you make the most of the information displayed? ***I figured it out...I should L2 read tooltips***

I think feral will always work for the feral players. Slower playstyle isn’t bad, would actually try if it’s slower

Love the slower energy. Hated the infinite energy. Back to slower speed, range kinda hurts. Gonna have to get used to it again.

As a Rogue main with a Feral main alt, it's kinda rough atm... I specifically enjoyed feral in DF because it was pretty high apm, but I'm willing to give the more methodical playstyle a chance. Really hoping both these classes are getting some more reworks early into the expansion. The range thing though drives me up the wall. Damn those Rets, especially since they apparently get to keep most of their 20yard spells. How is that fair? >:|

What a talent node waste for feral to have Lore of the Grove when hearing moonkin form has been removed from feral. Makes sense now why Blizz implemented the see your character silhouette when covered by or in front of an object....reduced range for feral, literally have to attack the hit box at the center of a boss/mobs instead of the edge.

Damn, i just started getting into the kitty during Dragonflight as a twink and had a blast with all the "druid-content" in the emerald dream with all the new appearances and transmog, devoting my kitty to the druid of the flames.. And a lot of interesting reactions when you crush Meters in m+ 😂 I agree that it felt kinda too much to reset tiger's fury every couple seconds, but looking forward it just seems insanely unappealing being unable to comfortably spread bleeds and bites, now being just a massive Chore on top of becoming energy starved.. Like "yeah not pressing my Buttons feels so great, insane gameplay!!"??? 🥲

This does not sound appealing at all. I mained feral for multiple xpacs. These talent trees really need reworking and unfortunately will not draw me back to the spec.

I have played feral for over 5 years and I have never been this disappointed...not only underperforming, but also not fun to play😢

Hey Marvel! They buffed Feral pretty significantly last night. I feel that my damage is much much higher but still definitely feeling energy starved most of the time even with the Apex buff. Also what do you think about Druid of the Claw vs. Wildstalker? Do you think we will be DotC for M+ and Wildstalker for Raiding? Thx for the amazing content!

And i picked feral as main on a new realm for WW because i hate the mainstream. Hopefully i will find a guild which dont care about the meta

our energy regeneration has not been reduced it has been slaughtered. playing feral since Woltk and i'm tired. nothing has changed in the gameplay the only reduced energy regeneration . hero talents dont change anything. i switched from hunter (classic) to feral ( late woltk ) and i think its time to move on to another class. they also killed the flight form but nice video. have an upvote

Checks out. This is why I'm swapping to mage for TWW. I want to see what it's like to main a class/spec blizzard actually cares about instead of one that receives few changes and the ones it does get often end up shallow or being a negative. It definitely felt better on beta than the SL version (I know that's a low bar) but it feels like nothing got addressed and feral ended up in a worse overall state compared to DF.

I had hoped with all these talent changes that Blizzard would FINALLY let Feral Druids use moonfire while in Feral form without having to use a talent for it.

I wish the devs would actually play feral after making these changes to see whats going on :(

meowdy marvel, I will enjoy my feral in prepatch to the fullest but I'm already set in setting sail and for the first time since bfa I will leave my feral behind and will main something different in TWW. I'm just not sold on our "changes". The Class Tree is a complet mess and our changes in the feral tree look not very exciting tbh. Same goes for our choice in Hero Spec in the future. Thanks for your amazing feral content in all of Dragonflight and reading your takes in class discord. Looking forward to 11.1 or some unrealistic last minute changes, because the cat lives on and will eventually return but until then good luck in TWW!
