He touches on some of the same issues that I'm encountering as I do oversight of a testing contractor for large organization. The gap between the requirements that testers know about and the requirements that the developers were seeking to satisfy was a particular interest. Another problem, which I don't actually know how to solve yet, is that of impact analysis of changes by developers as it affects regression testing suites. Even if testers are aware of the change, how do they know which regression tests to run to test the possible effects of the change?
