But Clemence, 30 minutes of you is what we DO want! 🖤💙🖤💙 Some really excellent ones in here. I'm contemplating layering Egoiste with Halfeti... Kouros is a surprise!!
This is the first time I’ve seen any of your videos and I hit subscribe after seeing the intro. Your response to that letter is exactly what I did when a co-worker complained about my different perfume. 😂
One of my favorite intros of yours :) so playful & humorous! I really must try Scherzo now. Kilian Cruel Intentions was one of the most dark and intense perfumes I owned but I sold it after just using it 1/4 of the way -- it was too strong/intoxicating to wear! Btw would love a video on Penhaligon's line - I spotted Lady Blanche in your intro, and I've really not heard anyone else talk about it
Oh Georgina that's a wonderful idea ! I really want to do a video on Penhaligons, I'm in love from their scents especially lady blanche and halfeti it will come for sure! Thank you so much !

This video just showed as a suggestion. The opening made me subscribe. I love spicy perfumes as well. 😊 I just got Midnight Oud. It’s rather animalic in the opening, but it dies down quickly. Unlike my other Oud perfumes, this fades after 8 hours on my skin. It fine, because I can spray something else after work. Usually, a Montale.
Video is more than wonderful and you mentioned some perfumes that I like to smell on women. Especially if they were beautiful.
This video leads us to raise an important topic, and this causes some confusion for me. The topic is "the concept of masculinity and femininity in contemporary perfumes." Some of the perfumes that you mentioned are suitable for unisex. The phenomenon of unisex sweet perfumes that appeared after the new millennium is causing me a lot of confusion. I know that unisex is not new at all. On the contrary, the gender in fragrances is newer . The old or vintage fragrances were gender-neutral in finding my own concept of masculinity. I belong to the millennial generation, which has come up with revolutionary ideas for changing society, especially with regard to gender equality. But after I became thirty years old, I woke up to the idea that I became a mature man, I woke up on my masculinity or manhood. So, I started wearing classic gentlemanly masculine perfumes like Chanel allure homme, and even Creed royal Oud became my signature scent, which is a masculine woody peppery fragrance. These days there are many oversweet ,or at least not mature, perfumes targeted for men or unisex, but men wear them and ladies find these fragrances very seductive. Which leads me to think or to find what has changed in the concept of masculinity in perfumes in last twenty years. Do not misunderstand me. I enjoy some sweet, but masculine perfume like Valentino Uomo. It is very romantic scent. When I smell this fragrance, I feel a soft voice whispering in my ears a poem in Italian or French, which I cannot understand, but I enjoy. I cannot imagine a woman wearing it, only if she was a confident woman. I hope my point is clear and I apologise for my long comment. I decided to discuss this question with you simply because I trust you and your elegant teste. I hope you make a video to clarify concepts masculinity or femininity of contemporary perfumes. With all due respect, Ghaeth
Hello Ghaeth ! That's a very long comment indeed that I'm affraid I will try to answer but like you said it's a big topic ! There's a lot of things to say about it , and I completly get what you're saying The concept of masculinity is changing for sure, however the concept of how to wear fragrance is changing too. Meaning that men's do have much more fragrance as they used to have before because we changed them for different occasions so even you can adapt to have a gentleman classic scent for one occasion and a sweet "seductive" one for another occasion. I'm pro to no gender in fragrance at all because it's all a question of how it makes you feel. I think the fragrance art is going though some change in trends and it's nice to see that men can wear flowers and sweeter fragrance for some occasion. I do wear men's fragrance myself a lot because I would love to see more people not associate ingredients to gender. Ohlalala I'm getting lost in there 😅 there's too much to talk about but it will be definetly very interesting to get organised my idea to give a clearer point of view on the evolution for sure ! Very interesting point, Definitely need to get my thought organised like I said Thanks for raising that !
@@clemenceccfragrance I can understand you point 😃 I am totally agreed that ingredients have no gender and we wear what suitable to our self-images😎 .

@@clemenceccfragrance I agree that it was one of the factors in making the way for the heavy oriental fragrances of the eighties. For me, the original was sublime. Ohhh I didn't know the two first one, I will try ! Thank you!
Scherzo my fave....
Isnt it just incredible !!
@@clemenceccfragrance it is! Every time when I smell it on the bottle or when I wear it, I can only close my eyes and went straight to heaven ❤️
JPG Fleur du Male is my favourite strong sillage fragrance. The cologne version is very similar to Kouros. Both flankers are sadly discontinued.
Yes I used to love this one ! Such a shame !
You’re adorable, Clemence. You were close... Provoking or Provocative. Merchant of Venice sounds intriguing to me. I’m very much into incense. Have you tried Zadig & Voltaire “This is Him”? I’ve just caught wind of it and thinking about checking it out
Oh it's been a long time I didn't try it so I wouldn't dare giving my opinion on it but definitely need to smell it again !
Thank you so much 😊
I wish the top notes hung around in Ani. It smells like vanilla Christmas trees to me.
It does indeed !
Nice video? Maybe make a video about where you keep your fragrance and it will not get bad quickly. Thanks:-)
Yep that's a great idea thank you !
🌷❤ great list ❤🌷
Thank you ! ✨
YSL Opium (1977) was the best fragrance ever!!
Such a little revolution in perfumery too !
@@clemenceccfragrance I agree that it was one of the factors in making the way for the heavy oriental fragrances of the eighties. For me, the original was sublime. It was such a wonderful time of my life, with all kinds of happy memories!! As with many reformulations, there is such a feeling of disappointment, almost like wanting to go back in time. Oh well, life goes on and of course there are many wonderful choices in the newer fragrances of today
I know that feeling so well, as a vintage fragrance lover ... I always think I'm a bit disappointed with reformulation but yes life goes on 🤔
provocative
Fun video esp the intro 😄 I love your overall aesthetic- do you have any movies that have inspired your style and love of vintage?
Ohlalal there's a lot !
I would say anything very vintage like the era of Hepburn and Monroe mixed with some french oldies and mixed again with the fun darkness of Tim Burton haha
That's a lot
@@clemenceccfragrance hahaha amazing combo! have only see the tim burton ones. i love vintage style but find some movies that old really difficult to sit through. i will try again now that i have time on my hands. thank you!
I understand you completely ! Did you watched breakfast at Tiffany ? It's very cute romantic movie, it's a classic !
@@clemenceccfragrance no but i will put that one on my list ;)
@@clemenceccfragrance i tend to prefer more tragic type movies which is why i have not watched it hahah. my boyfriend actually likes happy movies so he'll be agreeable to watching that
Opium forever!❤️
Yes Madame !
Enjoyed
Thank you !
I am not a rose 🥀 fan either, but I am going to see about getting a decant of Noir de Noir.
Yep, this fragrance is a good way to get back to rose !
Loving this channel! Can I ask what fragrance here in this list can be used for a luxury hotel smell? Cozy and luxurious? Thank you!
Ani for example can be amazing for that !
Clémence CC Fragrance omg thank you!
Hey I loved the content.. can you help me with a dupe for the merchant of Venice craquele for women?
she's so cute
Thank you!
Awesome intro... and absolutely the best response you could do to an idiotic complaint like that. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hahahahaha I'm glad you enjoyed it 😂✨
Clemence, im looking into the house of Penhaligon’s but they say the performance isn’t very good, so Helfati is good? Is it unisex or too masculine?
Halfeti's a performance that is incredible ! But again dépends on the skin so have a try first!
Hi Clemence , I want to try a fragrance with tobacco but not to heavy . Can you give any options ? Thank tou bisous 😚
You might like a nice Tobacco Vanille from Tom ford, Sycomore from Chanel (more earthy tho) and Chergui such a nice Tobacco scent ! Hope this help thank you so much !
Thank you Clemence 🤗
Givenchy Hot Couture. The edt projects better than the edp.
Hi! Have you tried lush - Lord of misrule? I love it :)
I didn't try this one ! Need to get my nose on it !
Thanks for the recommendation!
What perfume is the coral bottle in de upper cabinet? You're intro was on point
