Beautiful memories from decades ago. Back then in 1974 we were able to walk on the paths among those trees. And the alabaster windows inside the church glowing from the bright summertime sun outside are probably my most lovely memory from that pilgrimage to the Holy Land.

Things cannot be ‘Normal’ in any Nation- state which treats the indigenous population with utter contempt, commits daily atrocities via settler violence which is mostly backed by police/military. Peaceful dismantlement of the settlements required, Jerusalem to be recognised as the capital of Palestine and the refugees to get their right to return. This is a path to normality.

Things cannot be ‘Normal’ in any Nation- state which treats the indigenous population with utter contempt, commits daily atrocities via settler violence which is mostly backed by police/military. Not to mention a nation who continually breaks international law and operates happily under apartheid rules.
Peaceful dismantlement of the settlements required, Jerusalem to be recognised as the capital of Palestine and the refugees to get their right to return.
This is a path to normality.
