Seems pretty simple to make vulture flickshots more viable, increase the turn rate of the unit and maybe reduce firing delay a bit as well. SC2 engine has plenty of options to do stuff like that.
They arent actually flickshots, they are moving shots because the vulture is a hovering unit.
@@LpSC2onlinethere probably still is a way to have attack while moving enabled for a short delay after an attack command. It's just not as simple to put in as using the variables in their intended behaviours.
Loving this mod and these casts, please keep them coming!
So they've actually patched it on the 23rd so the Vulture can now do flick shots. You can look on their balance changes page.

35:50 that wasnt an eraser on the locust. TY used irradiate against the vipers which got transfused, which has a heal over time, and Dark used Parasitic Bomb on the Science Vessels.
Another big difference I didnt hear anyone mention; in Brood War if you shoot at a cloaked unit and it moves out of detection range while the shot is underway, it will still hit. In SC2 it will miss. I have already seen this save a lot of cloaked and burrowing units in this mod.
Eraser is probably best vs Banelings... No joke. Run the bio but have Irradiated vessels sit over the Ling bane ball. WRATHS with Iradiate on them if you need a faster unit

Vulture flick-shot was added in the most recent EVO update.
5:40 Correct me if I am wrong, but in Starcraft 1 you can see deformation on the terrain if there is a burrowed unit.
It is clearly seen in Installation maps. Other than that I think it is very hard to see them.
Regarding the vulture attack, the raven, for example, can shoot a missile and then move. That technology exists in SC2, I'm sure that can be modified to resemble the original vulture grenades :)
The Valkyries have a different firing pattern and different splash radius compared to BW
I agree that BW:Zerg getting boosted on creep is a bit odd, seems to me to be an easy way to differentiate them from sc2 Zerg
This mod operates like this:
Small = Light
Medium = Non-Light, Non-Armored
Large = Armored
So Vultures deal full damage against Light and Protoss Shields (both BW and SC2), less to Non-Light and even less to Armored

Someone please teach Artosis how to rapid-fire spider mines.
I hope the developers of this mod pay close attention to your videos and others showing it. This mod has the potential to really shake up the SC scene. It just needs some serious balancing.
Dark saw the mine at 5:35 pop up, and then cleared it
I wondder how the meta would shift in this mode if the starting worker count was somewhere between the sc1 and sc2 starter worker counts of 4 and 12, so perhaps 8?
I think you have to go spire to just get scourge for anti medivac and liberator. Mass lings with scourge should be op vs sc2 bio terran.

i knew that the 211 would be strong against bw zerg but dark played that so well and the build made a lot of sense. i mean it was still insanely strong because it forced a ridiculous amount of lings so eventually zerg just cant keep up from that position spamming nothing but lings.
in game 2 i think dark should've gotten scourge to cancel those medivacs. Haven't seen any zerge players in sc:evo utilize scourge yet.
I saw it in the 3v3 showcase of esl to try and clear carriers. Failed hard because of phoenix.

They balanced Sc2 over a decade, and that's what, six matchups? Add in three races... well, it's exponentially more matchups to balance, is my point. Not willing to do math, rn.
I heard they already added vulture shooting without loosing speed in Evo. 1.3.

These matches are from early days of the mod when the pro players didn't figure out how to use BW factions properly yet. I watched a bunch of new matches from the latest tournament and I saw the pro finally figured out and started to win against SC2 factions 50/50, which a good sign of balance. Units that you almost never saw or very niche in OG BW became more popular like BW ghost, BW queen, BW dark archon and valkyrie, BW BC and even wraith.

Guys I think I've found the problem. SC2 Goliaths don't have antennas.
I feel like the tanks shoot too slow even for starcraft 1.

The game is so good
SC1 mines and vultures seem to suck vs SC2. Hard to see how terran can defend from SC2 early aggression.
SC1 lings seem to be more powerful, even capable of holding SC2 bio on their own. And Dark did not even build scourges or hydras, which would be really good vs drops. Lost only because of pointlessly going ultras without lurkers or dark swarm support.
Wraiths are surprisingly good vs SC2 zerg because of less detection and AA available. I guess corsairs would be a big headache for SC2 zerg, too. But SC1 mech overall looks so bad vs swarm hosts and ravagers... How can it even beat them?
Are there more videos where SC1 terran goes bio rather than mech? I am curious how well it can work vs SC2 races.
Well Dark is one of the best SC2 players in the world, but when he play SC1 he's like a noob 😅.
How can you consider Rogue better than TY and TY better than dark when dark is miles above rogue?
Starting to see a lot of the fundamental flaws in the sc2 engine coming through. The way larger armies are always more efficient, and the way that sc2 has so many strategic options that their opponent ends up very limited, etc.

Kind of biased as usual, he had 4 tanks and siege mode was ready 5 sec too late, and he used up mines, zerg had 6 100/100 units and handful of lings , ravager are good vs tanks if the frontline is just a bunch of scvs taking friendly siege dmg.

@VIBrunazo Yeah, but I never seen a player reach that tech before having a lib in every base.
@@josearmandogomezrocabado537 because they didn't get used to BW zerg yet. Watch the latest tournament or matches from Korean channels and you will see scourges are very common against any air units, units like Liberators don't last more than a second lol.

well, they are 4 pop units vs 6 pop from SC2 so you can get more SC1 Ultra for the same supply cost. They also move roughly 50% faster and are cheaper compared to SC2 counterparts

Didn’t see an irradiate or dark swarm. You just can’t play BW vs SC2 without spells
