  • Hey everyone! It’s been such a long time since I have posted but don’t think I have forgotten about any one of you. I wanted to start taking my channel into the direction that it was originally made for. I want to share all that I have Learned and have the opportunities to do at the University of Oklahoma. I love being a student here because of the opportunities they provide for us, like this one.
We were assigned to transform a room for a teacher who had signed up for the transformation. At OU we practiced the constructivist approach or Reggio Emilia approach Which focuses on the children, their development, and what they need. It was so fun transforming this classroom and I absolutely love the outcome. The children absolutely loved it and seeing their faces made it extremely worth it.
If you have any questions comments concerns, feel free to comment below or send me a message! Enjoy the video. With love, Miss Laura 🥰

I know this is from 2 years ago but I love this so so much! As a Reggio teacher, I know it can be difficult to enter an elementary school space and design an environment that serves as the third teacher while being functional for what needs to happen in elementary school. Your group did an incredible job - this space is beautiful! Sent this video to my friend who is going from IT to Kindergarten and needed classroom inspiration. Thanks for posting this!!

@bridgettebrody6985 thank you so much!!! I hope it was able to give her some ideas! It definitely is hard to create a Reggio environment in a public school setting. I’m currently working at a Reggio inspired school ECEC now so it’s been really nice to see it in action.
