Wow! Did I enjoy this tour!!! Absolutely gorgeous!! This was created by very creative, compassionate, & loving people who know & value the lives of young children! I would be thrilled to work, volunteer, & have my grandkids attend a preschool environment like this!!! How thankful the families who send their kids here must be!!! I would definitely have loved to send my own kids there, back in the day(35 years ago)!
I absolutely loved everything I saw! The tour was amazing! Each area was very well thought out. I have a few questions like how many children are in your class? How many teachers? I can imagine that the creativity that goes on in the room must be amazing! I do have to say that seeing the two dead fish on the table turned my head a little bit. Not sure if that would go over well in the US.
thank you so much for sharing your amazing room . I am so inspired now to transform my room!!! It sounds like you are in Costa Rica? Or is it a music CD?
Thank you for sharing your beautiful room. regards from Costa Rica please keep showing videos like this because this videos inspire people and helps to get an idea how are the nursery class in other countries. I wonder if you could tell me if its necesary a certificate to implement this curriculum in a school. Can you recomen me literature about Reggio Emilia phyloslphy?
Ariana Le Gut. I suggest the Hundred Languages of Children book by Loris Malaguzzi. Many schools implement the open-ended, natural materials that are typical of Reggio Emilia schools, but that is only one part of the philosophy. This video only shows the environment. It does not show how these materials are used, and whether the approach used is Reggio-inspired or not. Good luck on your journey of discovering!
Wow... I Work in Reception in an outer London school and we are developing our environments following the Reggio Emilia model. Any advice / suggestions would be most appreciated. Do you have a website? Or blog?
Do you keep the main layout the same for the whole year i.e living room, kitchen and just change the provocations? looks amazing. Thank you for sharing
