If that post gets reported as self promotion - 4 leads will remove that post and give you a warning. After enough warnings your account is deleted. Self promotion is not the purpose of next door. Only get people to do recommendations for you as main posts. Unless you make a business account and pay to post ads.

FYI: Just to be clear . . next door has a policy in place to not advertise for income without paying for it. If a neighbor reports you for self-promotion, it will delete your post and if you continue to post without paying, your account will be deleted. I've been there and that's my story. I also tried to post my services on the payment platform and was asked to pay $75 for 7 days. needless to say, I didn't take the offer.
Have someone promote you on nextdoor at the main post. Don't do it yourself. But, you can reply to any post of someone looking for your services and that is not a problem.

We all know that WORD of mouth is the best advertisement, so give your customer the best service and do a little extra and reap the rewards later.

If people call you out for not cutting your grass, and your grass needs to be cut - cut your grass. If someone is slandering you on that site, they can be reported and kicked off the site. Also, public slander is an actual crime.
@@mattschmitt9924 yea i just see bad things happening my neighbor whom ive hated for 30 plus years and who has been a nusiance in the neighbor hood send out these letters to download the app with his activation code.. so this is why i wont be downloading it.. lets put it this way this guy complained about peoples grass parking campers.. and we dont have a hoa or and rules its a normal neighborhood.. i see it as him using it to complain to the city on anything you do etc.. its a tattle tale app.. and making slander comments on the site so all your neighbors know your the whore etc.. this worries me no im not a whore no im not a chick its just making a point.. i mean it seems good but everyone will know who has the long grass 2 blocks away and then youll prolly get harassed... so yea not for me i could use it for handyman work it would be nice but knowing my neighbor is pushing it for our block no thanks.. makes me worried...

At first, I started off with just "Odd Jobs" but also mentioned some of the specific things I could do - Pressure washing, Gutter cleaning, Junk removal, etc. - allowing you to get the most out of one post. What happens when someone coming onto Nextdoor recommending at places I can take a friend is coming into town and you give them your opinion which to me was it better to go to this city or a city or not here because it really isn’t anything here where I live I need one guy said that wasn’t very nice to say another guy turned around and said I am I can’t remember what he said but he said it wouldn’t that was shut up so I get flag for Shane Wahl shame in the public and all I said was thank you for your hateful comments because to me being disabled and you telling me to shut up when I’m 63-year-old person that’s hateful you have no right to turn around and tell me to to do that. Anymore that I have a right to turn around and say that to you but then next-door flags me whenever a couple other people that were in the same comments and pop for under that comment mama saying don’t tell him Lawrence go to Kansas City is better did they jump hurt nobody jump her they jumped me I need it was another lady like I said she only mentioned Lawrence and one time is 99.9% of the restaurant comments were normally huge long list of people are places I should say outside awards did she get told or go to Snapchat no she didn’t but they snapped at me how do you deal with that why am I getting flagged that’s all I’m asking why it should be the ones that are doing that it frustrates me to get flagged over sometime and they’re not even flagging them
