PNEUMA is a conglomerate of divergent percussionists from across the world whose musical priorities include chamber and contemporary music. Their collaborative efforts started in 2014, when they met during their studies at the University of Miami Frost School of Music under the tutelage of Svet Stoyanov and Matthew Strauss.
The members of the group are Matthew Nichols, Mitya Nilov, Antek Olesik, Peter White, and Ksenija Komljenović (artistic director). This footage is from PNEUMA’s launching event at the Performing Arts Center of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (January 30, 2020).
