Lapwood is always milking it on the BBC and Classic FM . People have well and truly had enough of all this ‘in house’ nepotism. As to why she shouldn’t start paying Council Tax on the Royal Albert Hall , we’ll never know!- her backside is never off the RAH stool. Absolutely unfair , that this trumped up nobody gets everywhere with her highly placed contacts and the blatant favouritism afforded to her.
@@jctai100 there are MANY organists who have at least equal or superior talent. But Lapwood is an unparalleled self-promoter - she's inescapable. And that's not necessarily a bad thing! But it does seem that she rather monopolises the RAH organ - I've heard that it's more difficult than ever now for other organists to get access to it, even when she's out of the country.
