      If you will get it for a reasonable price it is still a good deal. V11 - if you want suspension (more safe and comfortable ride) V12 speed and range. You need to decide what is more important for you

    Don't use the stupid high psi inmotion tells you. instead use same psi as your weight.
    Example: If you weigh 80 kg = psi 80 in positive and 40 psi in negative. if you weigh 70kg = 70 psi in positive and 35 psi in negative. if your weight is 100kg = 100 psi in positive and 50 psi in negative
    If you still feel after you need a little more psi. just add 5-10 psi more and it will be perfect.
    Doing this will make the ride and handling so much better.

    Nice review! I am a new EUC rider and it is true that the learning curve for this EUC is a little bit steep at the beginning. I still struggle to mount it (those pedal heights!) Regarding the suspension and tire, I am using 110 psi in the lower and 50 in the upper chambers (I am about 78 kg). I’ve had problem setting up the tire though... I came all the way down from 39 psi to now 32 psi. After testing the wheel, what are you using here? In the video you mention 1.8 bar (~27 psi) . That seems a little bit low based on what other V11 riders use(Duff, 32 psi or Marty, 30 psi). Thanks!

    • @ekolkacz
      @ekolkacz  3 года назад

      1.9-2.0 bar is ideal for me with 81kg weight and using 18" wheel, for smaller wheels.the pressure is higher.

  • @Bemx2k
    @Bemx2k 3 года назад +1

    Lower the pressure you will get less suspension but lower center of gravity it is important for beginners

    • @ekolkacz
      @ekolkacz  3 года назад

      To make pressure lower is quite bad advice, you can damage your rim, get punches and it will be not stable at high speeds

  • @adamszitas9925

    It is very easy to see in the first 15 seconds already that you have way too much pressure in your suspension

    • @ekolkacz
      @ekolkacz  3 года назад +1

      In this stage it was due to factory manual, if the pressure will be lower it is too soft for me and suspension does not work at all

    It’s not just soft suspensions, it’s that the suspensions are spring only.
    Ideally, the suspension absorb the impact and return you back to equilibrium. Without a damper, your feet will oscillate for a while.

    • @jaybomb5022
      @jaybomb5022 Год назад

      Wrong, 2 way adjustable air shocks not springs. Tune it correctly and it won't bounce like that, mine feels fine after bumps.

    Your pedals look really high even for the v11.
    Maybe your suspension pressure is too high?

    • @ekolkacz
      @ekolkacz  3 года назад

      It is working due to specs, if you stand on it it must go down approximately for 15%, during ride no clatter should be heard, if you will have softer pressure maybe you will be lower to the ground, but i am not sure if it will work how it used to. Other option is pump up higher pressure to negative (upper) chamber, but Inmotion said that i must stay with factory settings.

    • @ekolkacz

    you watched cooch's v11 videos? he has mentioned about the suspension and is about your weight. 120psi is too high in his opinion, he rides at 80psi. the pedal height drops significantly with his weight and has no difficulties with his aggressive riding and speed.

    • @ekolkacz
      @ekolkacz  3 года назад

      cooch is very skilled rider and I think he will be ok even on travel bag with wheels :) I do not know his weight but due to his height I guess it is around 60kg, I that case 80psi is ok

    • @theonlyqwert
      @theonlyqwert 3 года назад +2

      @@ekolkacz I doubt hes that light, quite tall. I think me mentioned he was supposed to be on 100-110, he mentions all the videos he sees, people are running them far too high. Might be worth trying 90-100 psi and see how it feels? When I get mine next week I'm starting at the recommended and going down 5-10 until it starts getting too close to bottoming.

    • @ekolkacz
      @ekolkacz  3 года назад

      @@theonlyqwert As i said in video, i was trying all from 100 up to 140, and finally decide to stay at 130 PSI. But it all depends on your riding style and surface, i am riding 95% of the time on asfalt roads, and low pressure in combination with high speed connering is not working for me, i do not feel confidence.

  • @ogcg6785

    In one video it's revealed, that you have to set the low chamber AFTER you set the main

  • @nebulaM16
    @nebulaM16 2 года назад

    Someone commented that lower pressure is better for riding in general and for the beginners especially, you corrected him with the explanation that the ride would be harsh and stability would be bad at high speed.
    Your wright but you didn’t take into the consideration that he was talking about beginners an possibly learning to ride.
    I talked to a guy from Australia about this.
    I don’t know how skilled he is but he actually suggested that learning to ride on the V11 would be better with NO air in the suspension.
    Learning is always done on a flat and bump free surface and there are no high speeds.
    So it might be actually plausible.
    I think about to purchase the V11 and I’m considering trying this but with only 10-20psi in both chambers just to not bottoming or “toping” out.
    I weigh only around 60kg so it might be enough pressure for learning to ride on a V11.
    What you think of that???

    • @ekolkacz
      @ekolkacz  2 года назад

      Best way to learn how to ride EUC is to choose smallest possible wheel without suspension. I am not saying that it is the easiest way, but if you will be good enough to ride small wheel then the bigger one will be even easier because it will be much stable and comfortable

    • @nebulaM16

      @@ekolkacz
      So you are saying that I need to buy first a small one to learn and then sell it and buy a V11 when I know how to ride?
      That’s nonsense because I would loose money and what if I can’t sell the smaller one?, they are not that cheap to just forget about it if I couldn’t sell it.

    koukám, že cz eshopy uvaději 2000W a zahranicni 2200W, u nas je myslim legislativne omezeni do 2000W tak ze by to bylo kuli tomu takto uvedeny a nebo ma treba omezeni softwarove jen? nevis?

      Jednokolka v ČR stoji stejných cca 43k + DPH, ale máš na to dvouletou záruku, jednokolky s odpružením nejsou tak robustní jako standardní a je šance že to zlomí po prvním pádu :) proto vždy vítáme u nás v servisu :) co se tyče omezeni SW, nic tam není spíš jde o chybu v popisu. Motory jsou stejné.

    2:42, you mention too soft suspension and at the same time you jump off the curb where I clearly can say you didn't set your suspension not only soft but also correctly. It's so stiff like in the wheel without sus. Go back to the drawing board and pump up negative valve to 50psi and play with positive one, you should have ~3cm of SAG.

    • @ekolkacz
      @ekolkacz  3 года назад

      During the video it was made stiffer then recommended, and it is more comfortable for me during high speed connering, you can adjust your settings due to your riding style, there is no one exact golden formula how it must be, it all depends on many factors, the same as racing car at circle and off-road at has different suspension settings and only while riding you can understand if it suits your style or not.
