    Key Features:
    MONO OR STEREO OPERATION
There are some great studio-quality effects for guitarists nowadays with two outputs for stereo operation, but normally you’ll need a pair of amps to take advantage. The Rocker 32 features a stereo effects return with two separate valve output stages, so you can unlock full potential of your pedalboard with just a single self-contained stereo combo.
If you like to keep things simple, the Rocker 32 can be connected just like any other mono amp, but the loop can also be patched in various ways to achieve stereo panning effects, a wet/dry setup or even to run separate effects chains to each speaker (with the help of a ABY splitter).
    UNIQUE TWIN CHANNEL DESIGN
If you’ve ever wondered what your guitars or your pedals actually sounded like, the Rocker Series amps are a joy to play. The ‘Natural’ channel features just one control for volume and is voiced for absolute transparency. Single coils ring out with true clarity and humbuckers sing with woody overtones.
Cleaner settings produce clear, glistening tones whilst cranking the volume reveals a bluesy crunch that loves to be kicked harder with boost and overdrive pedals. Quite literally, you get out what you put in. The ‘Dirty’ channel has a more traditional layout with Gain, Master Volume and a three band EQ. It too can be set on the cleaner side as a second rhythm sound, or dialled for various flavours of British grit for leads. (Optional FS-1 footswitch sold separately)
    BIG SOUND, SMALL FOOTPRINT
The Rocker 32’s clever dual output stage design and 2×10” speaker configuration means this amp sounds much bigger than its dimensions would suggest. One output stage features its own cathode follower which adds a subtle widening effect and an extra dimension to the sound, even when operating in mono.
With a sensitivity of 101dB, our custom Voice of the World Gold Label 10 speakers make the most of every available Watt, and you’ll soon notice the extra clout on stage. This high level of efficiency, plus a surprisingly gutsy bottom end means brilliant projection whilst retaining the crisp, bell-like chime of a great 10” speaker.
    ENGINEERED TO BE PLAYED
At Orange, we expect our amps to work for a living. For the best possible tone and durability, the Rocker 32 uses the same proprietary transformers found in our iconic Terror Series. Like our latest flagship valve amp heads, the Rocker combos do away with plastic connector blocks and ribbon cables in favour of hand-soldered flying leads. The chassis-mounted switchgear is secured to a welded steel enclosure and housed in a sturdy 18mm plywood cabinet. As for the amp’s stereo effects loop, we’ve opted to keep the signal path all-valve to preserve the amp’s tonal integrity.

You make this amp sound amazing. Well it already sounds fantastic. But this demo seems to make it sound better than others I've seen.

This is one of the best amps out there, stereo tube, perfect for pedals, those who write crap about the fact that there is no eq on the clean chanel, if you are pro, using pedals - those who these amps are actually for, you will have an eq pedal. All the other people will not know how to get the real potential of this amp.

Absolutely fantastic sounding amp. Henning Pauly was also raving about it.

I have this amp and frankly, the stereo mode is pretty useful studio-wise but in a live context, the speakers are too close to each other to notice it. It sounds nice, wide and it pierces through the mix. Truly a beauty.

Thinking if we get one we can run two mics one to left one to right P.A. and that way we can get the separation. Any problems w/ that? Thanks.

@@kaschbowman most venues run in mono anyway. Otherwise the audience on the left would get different sound to the audience on the right

The reason the amp is so loud is the speakers' 101dB sensitivity. Because each speaker has its own power amp, the equivalent sensitivity for the amp as a whole is 107dB (thanks to acoustic coupling). For reference, that is 11dB more sensitive than a single Celestion Heritage Greenback.

Best sounding demo. Currently own a rockerverb mk3 combo, toying with the idea of downsizing to this. Has definitely tempted me.

Great playing and great sounding amp.

the only downside with this amp is that the speaker impedance is fixed at 16Ω a side so that limits your options. Annoying as the Rocker 15 will handle 8Ω which is far more common

You got stereo FX loop presented in the end, but it still sounds mono. Anyway. Nice sound.

It's in stereo, left to right with the delay timing. Put on headphones and it's easier to hear. He doesn't have it panned all way left and right so it's more sudle, but musical with what he's playing.

Too subtle for me to hear, I'm afraid, even with headphones. I wonder if they panned the single mic to the middle for the main demo and neglected to pan them to stereo at the end.

I can hear a compressor in the signal, is that right??

Sounds like it to me, especially on the high-gain palm mutes. Could be after the mics.

Just imagine the stereo-spread with a pair of 2x12s...

i am thinking about buying one of these because i already do a wet/dry setup withtwo amps.
with this amp, you can run through two amps and do a wet/dry/wet or wet/dry/dry. or you click
off the fx loop and run both completely dry for another timbre. i want one

Keep an eye on GC, I just picked one up for 2/3 the cost of a new one and it’s fantastic! Right now they’re popping up used on their site for around 800, every once in a while one will come in lower than that.

Do you think i could get a cleanish sound out of the dirty channel for small gigs?
Somewhere in the ball park of Frusciante's clean sound (I mean breakup wise)

    • @Robstafarian
      @Robstafarian 7 лет назад +1

+Chris Fruscio I think that is quite possible: it is worth trying the amp yourself.

I play it clean on the dirty channel, it's is light break up and beautiful. I also have a blues driver pushing it. Yes, does frusciante nicely

    • @dwiii1635

Usually they advertise the pedal in conjunction but you have to buy one separately. I hate it.

  • @CrazedFandango

I cannot believe that there is no EQ on the clean channel.

    • @thromboid
      @thromboid 2 года назад

I really like running an EQ pedal either before the amp or in the FX loop, but it would be handy to have one that switches with the amp channel, I agree.
