Yes - bruised but walking and taking things easy. Expensive wing damage

Excellent as usual. Thanks. Shame to see Graham Blackwell's innocuous little shunt at the chicane finish his season.

Yeah a real shame and one that left him feeling a little second hand initially. Gives you a real impression of just how fast the top class cars in BSC are going though. You wouldn't think Edwinas would be such a tough corner to get right but it really seems it

@@PescaraProductions the cone I hit became wedged beneath the car and prevented me from slowing or turning, resulting in a 13G impact with the armco behind the tyres; Four days after the crash I am covered in large black bruises and my back is in agony; this will be a long recovery, to the point that I am not racing again this year. The car will be repaired only once I and back on my feet and able to work on it. My thanks go to the Medical teams and marshals/volunteers for helping me, and to my family and friends for helping me recover the car back home on Sunday.

@ZetecinsideMotorsport @ZetecinsideMotorsport Sad to hear you're still dealing with the after effects of that crash. I do wonder what can be done in future from a safety standpoint. The cone situation is not ideal but the track limits particularly there do need to be enforced pretty well. Perhaps those floppy markers would be better suited to the task. And I was quite surprised how much you moved about in the car. Is that something that can be addressed with different belts or seats or is that simply how much you can expect to be thrown about at such a pace. You sort of lose the sense of speed these cars will do at that corner so it's tricky to tell. I hope the MSA gave you the copy of the crash they took off me

@@PescaraProductionsI've got the onboard, which is terrifying enough, don't need to see any more external footage. The belts were tight, but the 13G impact was so severe something had to give.

Certainly. All comes down to what I can afford though sadly and Mallory is handy cos I live a mile away. Not so sure about the rest

Yeah certainly surprising and Graham was rather battered and bruised after that. Wonder if sticking a few of those foam bales in front of that barrier would have helped much? But I suppose you could have an impact like that in a lot of places

@seanaidley never have but have considered it a few times. One of the few things left to do but don't really know the rules and stuff around it.
