    Dang... I knew Solberg was crazy, I mean... when Norwegians get famous for rally it's usually because they're a madman behind the wheel, like Martin Schanche in the 80s and 90s...

    Solberg drove that so hard. Very nice. Notice the top 3 times were no brakes through the top S. The suspension on that R35 killed it though. Low and tight scraping the corners. Major props to Roets and the tuners on Armageddon. Suspension won that one.

    every one of them lotus's where NUTTY but ima be real. the one with the j35 got me to laugh so hard. not cause its bad or goofy or anything, but because its a j35... like they are a dim a dozen and the one with the amg/ferrari engine probably cost 30x the cost to build that j35 lol. it was so impressive, still tho the ferrari one sounded so good

    You notice what makes rally cars so fast, they don’t dip with bumps, less down force is actually an advantage they just skip across.

    Lad with an engine straight from an Accord beat two legit racing V8s in the Lotus camp. Wow.
    Also, yeah, the small Polo giving a fight up there is great to watch, but people forget that same car is the factory machine that dominated World RX, so it's eventually not as surprising. I liked the other one with the "tuned up R5" looks, didn't notice it has DRS until now

    • @HillClimbMonsters
      @HillClimbMonsters  10 месяцев назад +3

      Yeah, turns out the ultra common J35 has some potential.. :P
      And Lee Thompson´s Polo, while sort of simple looking, has a bunch of tricks up its sleeve. DRS is just the cherry on the top ;)
