Tiguan at the beach, kinkuna beach camping, Tiguan on sand

Took the Tiguan into the softer sand at Kinkuna beach just south of Bundaberg. Not a lot of sand footage as I was too busy driving. The Tiguan are up the soft sand and multiple water crossings on the entry from the south at woodgate. The new Kolchuga skid plate did its job. Ran 16psi in the tyres. Vehicle was loaded up with our roof top tent and all our stuff as well as a full tank of fuel.
Thanks to the local lads that escorted us in to make sure we got in ok. We met them on the entry point of the tough stuff after the first water crossing and they stayed with us until we were confident that the Tiggy would cope. I even heard random UHF chatter about how easy the track must be “if that VW made it” . I would say it’s fair to guess that my Tiguan is the first tiggy on that beach ever.

Hi how are you? Im looking to make my Tiguan 2.0tsi 2008 track and field a bit more capable. What type of tyres do you run and what size? did you put lift springs on yours? Any other mods? Thank you

They’re 235/70-16 falken wildpeaks and yes Eibach spring lift fitted
