Old Fashioned Yellow Cake with Chocolate Frosting

Here is the recipe for today’s chocolate cake:
Yellow Cake
3 Eggs, large
2 1/4 cups All-purpose flour
3 1/2 tsp Baking powder
1 1/2 cups Granulated sugar
1 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Vanilla extract
1/8 cup Vegetable oil
1/2 cup Butter
1 1/4 cups Milk
Chocolate Buttercream Frosting
1 1/2cups (226g) salted butter, at room temperature
4 cups (480g) powdered sugar
3/4 cup (70g) cocoa powder (scoop and level to measure)
3 - 4 Tbsp heavy cream
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
