Absolutely! As much as I like the various other watch channels, I tend to tune out when they talk a lot about Rolex, Omega, Vacheron Constantin, et. al.
Absolutely great video Jody. Perfect for the first timer and for those with a variety of budgets. Isn't it great that there are decent watches for everyone regardless of the budget? Can't beat watch collecting, particular when there is no watch snobbery involved. Excellent!!
The huge success of the Orient Kamasu is in no small parts due to its sapphire crystal. Similarly the hype around the Tissot PRX would be hard to imagine if it had mineral crystal only. Then why didn't Casio take advantage of the opportunity and upgraded the crystals on the new EFV 140 "Aqua Terras" to sapphire and charge $ 20 more? That watch would be one of the biggest sellers in the watch market.
It’s he just the wholesale cost though….the end cost of the Watch gets a markup by distributors, then ADs, so if retail is 3x cost that $20 part adds $60.
The lighting behind you looks great, although the light in front of you makes you look hot and sweaty and under interrogation especially when it bounces off your glasses and forehead. Just saying like.👍

Your Casio collection is pretty good. Here's my combo: 1) GW-B5600 - every day carry, daily beater, working, diving, sports watch for around $150 2) MQ24-7B2 - every day carry, dressy, business watch for less than $20 (if it's good for the Pope, it's good for everyone)

Getting that JOMA itch again. Some super choices there my friend. I may have to take a plunge into those CASIO waters . I agree about there being a place for quartz, particularly as a daily. Lots of thought into these collections & really was sentimental remembering watching most of these in past vids as well :) that 1st collection features a bonus digital watch that you said nothing looks quite like it. It’s really quite a lot like a Garmin instinct! Not to correct you at all, but for the review upcoming for your red one, it might be neat to mention the differences between the two & how much functionality they bring down to that price. Thank you again for all the content!
Helloooo Jody! Hope the new little one is doing well! Good choices! The Casio Duo is my daily beater for the last several years and it has held up perfectly and still looks great on my NATO strap!
Here in 'Merica, the Seagull is $100 more than you're listing, but the Griffy can be had on Amazon for $35, even less when it's on sale. Side note: I have a Griffy and it's one of my favorite watches. It sees at least as much time on my wrist as my Tissot!

What a great video, I can't imagine the research it required!
👍. Yep. I play top 5 used hot hatches to drive up & down Byers road wearing any given seiko. 👌.
Some great suggestions for a 5 watch collection. For the Casio beater I’d also recommend the AE-1500WH. I picked mine up for $28 AUD. 100m WR and 10 yr battery life. For a really cheap “diver” you also can’t go past the Casio MRW-200H.
Excellent as always
Bravo, Jody, excellent video.
Getting that JOMA itch again. Some super choices there my friend. I may have to take a plunge into those CASIO waters .
I agree about there being a place for quartz, particularly as a daily. Your daily should be a no brainier. I was very surprised by the reduced price of that Tissot.
But, TBH my heart goes out to the Orient Start Diver. What a beaut. A big fat 1970’s double thumbs up from me 😁
Fantastic video! This gives a lot of good choices.
Great video as always! FYI the North Edge Mars is a homage of a Garmin Instinct.
Excellent so many ideas now, more watches that I don’t need, but tend to buy🤔
Such a great episode! 👏
I don’t think I have ever seen you review a Fossil watch. I really like the styles, and having their outlet a few miles away from my house helps
Great choices Jody I choose casio a500w , g shock 5600 and f91w .
Congratulations! The new camera's good too.
Great stuff. Especially Casio collection 👍
This is a great Video after coming from a Teddy B video with a $7000 budget that I can only dream off this video truly makes me wanna go spend and get some more watches
Those Ali Express picks look amazing
I'm glad you deciphered the t-shirt for us. I was trying to break the code and was thinking WTF? Hahaha 😆
This is excellent. Great vid.
Great video Jodi loved it!
So, your sis took one of your watches... priceless!
Helloooo Jody! Hope the new little one is doing well! Good choices! The Casio Duo is my daily beater for the last several years and it has held up perfectly and still looks great on my NATO strap!
I like the new lighting!
I’m very impressed with this video 🙌🏻
Nice one, Jodie! The new camera is excellent, we can see your tan 😎
Here in 'Merica, the Seagull is $100 more than you're listing, but the Griffy can be had on Amazon for $35, even less when it's on sale. Side note: I have a Griffy and it's one of my favorite watches. It sees at least as much time on my wrist as my Tissot!
Very fun video - and congrats on your non-watch recent addition to the family!
I love these type of vids, really puts things in perspective when you have tunnel vision and want to splash out on one watch...then realise, hang on..I am being daft..let's get 5!..lol...so true though,no matter how expensive anything is,novelty doesn't last..variety does. Nice one mate
Perfect upload! Thank you as always!
I'm stealing this idea for an upcoming video. Great job Jody!
Wow, I have three of your lists, Casi Duro, Steeldive and the Orient Star, cheers.
Great video Jody I'd do a mix of the five piece and casio if I were to be starting from scratch. Thanks for all the time you put into this one.
Helm still has my heart I can't wait to order mine
Mate, you are going to have to wait! 😂
Really like that orient star, have been eyeing them off. Although, the older triton is also a contender.
SUPER SELECTIONS...Thank U Mate..!
that was fun, some classic watches in there
Hey, Jody. I’m surprised you didn’t include any Citizen Eco-drive watches, especially since you seem to have come around to them lately. Nevertheless, great and fun collections here!
You don't have to spend tons of money to go underwater skateboarding anymore, such a relief!
