- The NBA 2K24 Visual Cue setting is somewhat new for the game while also being quite familiar. When set to your liking, it can greatly give you a boost with your shooting in the game. The setting focuses solely on shot timing and in this video, I'll show and explain to you how Visual Cue works and then you can decide which setting is best for you.

How do you feel about shooting in NBA 2K24?
“As you look at my new balance kicks 😂😂” this guy 🤣🤣🤣
For real, look at that boy GhostPanda tryin to be different 😂
Which is the best for PS4? Because there isn’t push option
What's up bro, there should be a Push option. Did you go to Controller Settings?
@@GhostPandaStormI’m late asf but I’m pretty sure next gen only has the new shot timing cue .
@@kyreejames3471 Nah it's all good Kyree. Never too late bro. I can confirm that Visual Cue is also on old gen in Controller Settings. Unless it's not available on Xbox One for some reason. It's on PS4 though.
@@kyreejames3471 Sorry for the late reply kyree, yes you can change the shot timing visual cue on current/old gen, at least on PS4.
Good vidoe bruh simple to the point
Thank you bro, I really appreciate that. Glad the vid helped
Wide open release slightly early. Okay try again slightly late. 🙃
Yup that’s the best way to describe shooting in Park and Rec 😂
Thank you so much for posting this video !! You made it very clear with these still shot 360 degree images.
No problem AJ, thanks a ton for watching!
Excellent video
Thank you bro I really appreciate that
Thanks for the simple explanation
No problem Lord 💯
Yup shot timing is crazy for me this year 😂
same here bruh, one game I'll shot like a pro the next feel like a complete bum
Yea bro, it’s been pretty wild this year. Feels different on different courts it seems lol
With you bro. On the Elite courts, I shoot "fine" but then I play two games at the Rise courts and I'm shooting like Curry and I'm a 76 three lol.
Jump is definitely for me i can't stand push i be missing my shots
Yea I feel you bro. I was doing OK with Push for a minute but switched to Release and that's been much better
@@GhostPandaStorm facts I do jump now I can make all my shots
@@mellothomas That's what's up bro I'm glad things are working out for you. Shooting can be tough
@@GhostPandaStorm facts
Still using jump?
what a joke
Appreciate the simple explanation. NBA2klab sucks at tutorials
Not a problem Dave, I'm glad you found the vid helpful

Thanks for the help bro appreciate it!
My pleasure bro, happy to help!
Thanks, this video helped me a bunch.
No problem Russki, happy to help.
Good video Mr panda 🐼
Thank you Mr Skunk as always🦨
So basically its looking at the animation motion like back in the years of the classic games ?
Yeah David, pretty much. It's basically about look and feel of the shot
@@GhostPandaStorm last years was like i need to know everybody individuall shot timing ⏱️ this made it hard when changing teams. This time its looking at the hand wrists/shot makes it a one formula for every player i think thats the best and they should stick to it and never change it
@@David1989. Yeah for sure, I like the Visual Cue setting as well. Jumpshot animations still play a role but I think having the cue makes the learning curve a bit easier for each shot.
But what if i come out a fast dribble or a contested shot will that effect my visual cue ?
Yes indeed, you would need to adjust slightly. Let's say your Cue is Push (Late) then you would have to hold the shoot button down a little longer if you're contested. Pretty much the same for coming off the dribble because you likely loss some stamina so your shot will feel slower.
Can set point release solve the latency problem in park games? I was thinking set point has the earlier release, and park games react late.
Yeah, good question junelle. I have seen people say their shooting was better despite the latency issue when they used Set Point or Release. I've been using Release since last year (when it was called Very Late) and it's been comfortable for my Center who has a 76 three point rating. That said, I understand it might feel slow for some people too.
What about shooting while being contested
Usually when contested, you'll need to hold your shot button down a little longer as contests obviously effect your timing (sorry for the late reply)
The jump timing is at the top of the jump not the beginning of the jump if that makes sense 😂 he’s dead wrong on that one sorry
Yea, I got to look into updating that. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, my bad lol.
actually the jump cue is when the toes leave the floor. Mike Wang confirm that
@@aaroncobb27 Thank you for that piece of info, Aaron. Very much appreciated
I still can't get it down guess I'm just a meter boy
Yea bro, it's definitely not that easy. The key is the find a jumpshot animation to get comfortable with. Once that happens, it makes things much easier.
