    The look grows on you I test rode my friends same bike same bags and you have to lift over them a bit but you forget they are there while riding and talk about super convenient for errands, rain gear, tire kit, etc. A great value in line with the rest of the bike. I will take that quality and price point any day.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  Год назад

      yeah i think could be a drawback on tight dirt tracks especially if one forgets and hits a low tree branch.
      i had this classic on a rough dirt track a few days back and decided to turn around.
      i got caught up in a tight sandy section doing the turn and totally blocked the track and it took a while to get out too...lol
      might put that up as my next clip. had lunch while i was there too so not a total waste of ride

    I don’t have a Royal Enfield, but I enjoy watching your videos, those bags and racks seem like brilliant value to me.

    Hi Warro, thanks for the video. Good review. I guess they removed the ebay item or changed the item number because I cant find it. I think I bought the same but in brown, and had a review on them myself. Mine also came with a hole in the box 🙂 All items there but with two left brackets, so had a little work done to get it to fit. Bags are ok quality but colour fades quikly on mine. Will try to wax or something to see if it reduces some fading.

    Great stuff Warro! Racks look more robust than the bottom bolted unit👌 If you want to, I just sprayed water repellent spray around the bags & let them dry out for 2 days before using them. I got it for my sneakers & thought I’d use it on the bags too😉 So far they haven’t discoloured & haven’t gone mouldy. Otherwise, colour suits the bike really well. Stuff those oxford bags… they make great heated grips & that’s about it😎

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  Год назад +4

      yeah i purchased those oxford bags sight unseen but not too keen on them...lol
      one thing i can say - when i get onta the cooking side again and fire bans gone i will by then have the suzuki vstom and most likely the hunter 350 to rotate different ride stuff on.
      good call on the water repellant spray-never thought of that and may give it a bit of a work out myself

    @daintree2455 Год назад

    Classic 350 or Hunter can't wait to see your comparison of those 2. The Hunter is a nice looking machine in my mind and the size just right. RE on the ground motor shuts off which is great especially for me a serial bike dropper and yep I found out after the event. 2 types of bikers Warro ones who have dropped bikes and ones who are yet to do it and as sure as shooting they will ha ha. Nice looking bags priced right and when u r tripping about room for a carton of Tooheys Old on that back rack between the bags. Perfect.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  Год назад +1

      slightly biased here but i do think the classic 350 is the far better looking bike and i'm not too keen on that exhaust on the hunter 350 although i do believe it gives a better note.
      lighter by 15kgs the hunter and smaller wheel with supposedly better handling and more nimble plus better tune.
      well thats what they say but can one believe them.
      only one real way to find out buy the hunter and run it back to back against the classic on a same path.
      so as soon as i clock 10k on the classic i will take the hiace to sydney and grad a hunter 350
      i sort of like that dark grey colour so that may be it colour wise
      dropping the bike side i think it could not have happened in an area you'd think....impossible. ride area that easy and ive been along it a good dozen times.
      careless move on my part when i switched lines partly into the ride through. mud surface was that slightly out of the mud stage and going sort of solid and slippery and after that party over and very quick too with no friends...lol
      so now i know what its like for the very first time to hit the ground quick but thankfully at very slow speed.
      bags are just good value for money and one easily gets their value there. look good on the bike too where those oxfords were a pretty big highly overpriced disappointment

      You can also mount them to the frame if your bike is right to mount them.3L containers fit good inside one of those bags & put your camping gear around them to utilize every bit of room.If you got a wooden crate on rear rack you could drill holes to mount those containers & could carry 3 just reinforce the crate where mounts go.The 350 reborn can carry quite abit of stuff no problem & still do 60-65mph.

    Great looking bags for that colour bike and a good price too. I did type in the number on UK eBay and it didn`t come up with anything but I`m not too worried, as I only want to buy the racks, not the bags. I use Lomo bags, on my CB500X because they are waterproof and I just want some good racks for the 350, so I can use those bags.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  Год назад

      yeah just check out your ebay and look for the racks with the 4 hole plate in the centre. its far better than the old style which once i felt i could have made myself...those are that bad i feel...lol
      holes lined up perfectly-no cutting parts of the rails and the bolt up to mudguard stays line up nicely.
      by the way that same vendor i bought from had the others for $17 cheaper and i almost bought those.
      then i thought its only $17 i will check out that 4 hole one and see.
      best move i made. pretty crappy bolts supplied but thats a very easy fix and i no longer have to use cable ties...lol

      @@ridewithwarro Thanks for all that Warro. I did find a few with that style of bracket, with the four holes and I have two on my watch list. They work out just over £100, with the bags included, which is close to 200 Australian dollars. 👍

    Thanks for the video. I have two questions: a. Where did you get the toe and heel gear lever? b. Don't you find the rear breaking lever too high and broad? It forces me to keep the right foot aways tense, in an uncomfotable position. Thanks again.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  Год назад +1

      heel and toe shifter are for sale and quite plentifil on ebay so no issues there. mine is a bit high at the moment mainly because i dropped the bike a few days back and bent it up...lol
      ive got to look into that side of it and will take more notice.
      so far it hasn't bothered me so i suppose ive got use to it.
      it does now because its sitting much higher

      @@ridewithwarro Thanks, Warro, for the reply. I'll look for it. Regarding the rear breaking pedal, I'm thinking on modifying it, it's really not comfortable. I do long rides, and i can't find space to flex and play with my right ankle. It gets on me. Anyways, my feet are US 13/14 and I'm long legged! Enjoy, ride safe, and thanks for the info and attention from Spain.

    Nice looking bags. It seems that saddlebags on the classic always look like they’re sitting too high. It just occurred to me that they’re probably designed with the rear seat in place. Given that nobody leaves the seat on they should have the bags sitting at fender height instead.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  Год назад

      must admit i think your spot on there with the high bag call. plus i think when i had the other 350 reborn those bags i put on it were probably slightly higher than these too
      wonder no-one has thought of what you said and made a low line set of stays.
      i think they'd sell pretty well to solo seat riders

    This video is helping me very much. Later today I have scheduled service for my classic 350 and was thinking about the original bags they they have there but the price is a bit over... 300 € from my local RE dealer. I will think about it.
    I also have a 250 Kymco maxi scooter in some regards is better .. Mainly in the weather protection in the fall and early spring.
    p.s. I can't find the bags with that item number.. I will try to search it later today.
