  • Why do so many tourists visit the famous floating islands of Lake Titicaca? Thats a question we're about to answer by staying with a local Uros family on Lake Titicaca for the next 24 hours.
We had no idea what to expect on this adventure, partly due to the lack of communication from our hosts but mostly because we just weren't sure if this was a complete tourist trap OR if it was truly something special.

Nice video! I visited these islands 10 years ago but as part of a tour group. Just a day trip. so thanks for bringing back some memories. You are right that it is definitely touristic, but totally unique in the world. If these people couldn't make a living from tourism, then these islands would be abandoned and lost to the world forever.

Thanks guys 💑for sharing Lake Titicaca what a Amazing place.🏞 I remember studying South America in 6th grade, and Lake Titicaca caught my interest. What an amazing lake. I learned "It is often called the highest navigable lake in the world. By both the volume of water and surface area," The reed islands and the people of the island are both amazing. Multiple witnesses have claim to have seen UFOs descend from the sky and submerge into Lake Titicaca. Did you see any UFOs?🪐 😄The lake is very deep? Cheers 🐡🐡🍷🍷👨‍🍳
