tips I haven’t really seen around to much: 1.early game: do not stay on your carry the entire time. In between Q’s and potential shields detach and get some auto attacks off on the enemy. 2. Once you are on cooldowns early/mid game detach and help your carry with auto attacks. The logic is every little hit of extra damage at this point helps. You have an entire hp bar dont be afraid to use it and attach once your low. 3. Help your jungler with dragon. Use your cool downs Q and E Then detach and attack dragon. Rinse repeat. take some damage if you can that way your jungler will be healthy if the enemy tries to contest dragon. 4. Late game teamfights youll want to focus on the person whose carrying the game. best friend buff be damned. keeping specific keyplayers alive is more important. The point im trying to make is if you want to actually win as yuumi you need to be there for your team. late game your item actives and ultimate usage will make or break you alone with jumping to key targets and saving them etc. 5. Late game the only time your really going to want to be off of somebody is to block key enemy abilities. But why?: because early game cooldowns are long and mana is tight. you can do more with your autos then if you just sat on your teammate. Late game cooldowns are quicker and you want to be able to use your item actives no matter what. Hopefully this sorta helped anybody thats interested in yuumi. I have been playing a bunch of her and yeah I know im a literal who but everything im saying here has sound logic. 6. Use your ultimate to heal and save teammates. it can be a massive game changer. What yuumi is great for: early game poke. more reliable support item and ability usage. late game hyper carries. what shes bad at: she only has slows. Cc wins games and you don’t really offer that. what you do offer is extra damage heals(R,Passive) and shields. TLDR: when safe to do so as yuumi you need to apply whatever pressure you can to help your adc. early game once cooldowns are exhausted detach and auto the enemy. In an all in situation early game. Still do this in between cooldowns. Any damage they do to you is damage they arent doing to your carry. you always have the option off attaching and hanging back when your low waiting for your sustain to kick in. Early dragon/objectives: do the game for dragon or towers Q,E then detach and get autos in. Hopefully this helps anyone that takes the time to read it. This change in play style has helped me a bunch
This helps a lot, this sounds like your utilizing everything the character can do every moment possible which is awesome. I never really played LoL but i hit masters in ow2 lol so i can understand what you’re saying a bit. I main support in ow2 and I’m always watching my cooldowns, positioning, and putting myself in the shoes of my teammates. But i also apply damage any time i can, if it means not over extending myself. Can i apply the same logic with this character while also applying your knowledge as well? Just trying to make sure i have the right mindset about it lol. I appreciate the info though it helps a lot, im probably on my 10th game lol.
Unless you know how to trade hp against the enemy and they have no hard cc, never take pots on yuumi. Much better to either get a control ward or only get the starter item to have 100 gold at the start of the game for a slight lead over the enemy. As a yuumi main it pains me to see yuumis get pots and never use them. Also depending on the enemy bot lane it might be best to max E, W, then Q. The extra shields and on hit healing from W can be great for extra sustain rather than jut the raw small damager her Q does
@@Deathstroke24120 Always been a support main in any game be it SMITE, Overwatch, Heroes of the Storm. Im Yummi main for 3 years now, for early game(stop come out of enemy ADC finish 1 item) please don't afk inside your ADC After u use Q and E on your ADC u come out and basic attack, I saw alot of new Yummi just afk giving their ADC depression 😂
Yuumi's performance in the low position is still very strong. It forms a barrier that is no less than the summoner's skills in about 6 seconds, increasing the ADC attack speed by 40%.
after michael i usually do the staff of flowing water but this may also work. And btw, mind doing fiddlesticks support? he has great poke, late game beast, great cc's but i don't know what items i should really be building
Hello! Why start with the Moonstone Renewer? The passive sheild bonus is only working when there are atleast 2 teammates nearby. I usually buy it late in the game when there are more teambattles. Dawncore i believe is very good if you have lots of mana regen since you get more AP and Heal&Sheild from that. I want to be a better Yuumi player.
This is a good question, honestly it’s mostly because the potential for moonstone is just so strong, and when you have one item you should already be skirmishing and getting value from it, that by the time you buy it second it’s a little late! Also if you go Dawncore you still kind of need Moonstone which means your Mikaels is super delayed and you definitely want it!
@@norlout I actually like to go Redemption first as a Yuumi OTP, it provides long distance supporting, true damage, and healing, then I go Moonstone second during mid game as teamfights would become more often.
