Incredible tutorial! Holy Moley! You blew the other how-to’s out of the water. Following this method, I would feel utterly confident about the install. The only part I am confused about is the drill and tap of the screws. I don’t know that that means : ). Really, this should be required viewing for whomever purchases this window. Great job! Thank you.

Thank you for the kind words, happy the video helped. Tapping holes may seam difficult at first, but it's good practice to have that skill in your personal tool box for the future!

Hi Nick, love the vid's you are putting together. I am installing the Exact same AW kit in my Transit High Extended van. I am also building my on floor system. My floor will be 2 1/8" thick including the vinyl. You touched on the fact that the lower panels would need to be cut to sit on the floor, but you never finished the AW installation series. My questions are: 1: are you planning on finishing the series on the AW install?, and 2: if you are not, can you tell me how hard it was to cut all the wall pannels and trim pieces? Any advice? Also did you have to trim the vertical L-Track pieces as well?
    Thank you,

Why did you use shcs vs bhcs? Again, another great, detailed, video. Nice work.

Thank you, I didn't think about using bhcs, I do like the knurled pattern on the shcs to be able to screw them in by hand, but using bhcs would definitely be a better option and would also give a cleaner look too.

That rear over hang is sketchy.. As the last things glass wants is exposed edges..They will shatter by just the slightest impact..

In my opinion, CRL windows are over-rated junk.

That maybe so, however selection is limited in the custom "factory look" vented windows for camper vans. I have experienced craftmanship issues from CRL that involved a passenger side window vent not closing properly. CRL was very helpful and did replace the window for me no questions asked, so I'm happy with their customer service at the current moment. Though I can understand if you are a DIYer and upon receiving the window, if something is damaged/not working properly its disappointing considering the price and your loss of time. If possible, locating an CRL distributer and driving to them is my preferred method (not ideal I know) but being able to open the box and inspect it with them, although cumbersome, saves me the headache of shipping it back, taking pictures, email etc. Hope this helps!
