I use my Curio and a fine sharpie in the pen holder to draw my grid and numbers on a new mat. Just design in it Studio by tracing the lines of a "New" project. I also get flexible cutting mats (for chopping vegetable etc) and cut them to size, using an existing Silhouette mat as a template. 4 for $1 at the dollar store, and you can get 2 Small Curio mats from each sheet. (no one is as cheap as I am.) A 1/8" hole punch is perfect for the small holes and a 1/4" hole punch for the large holes. You can also look for "Wet Media Acetate" at the art supply store, and run them thru your printer. (Design in Studio and use Send To Printer) This way you can just replace the clear thin part of an existing cutting mat.

Hello, I´m very happy with your idea, it´s EXCELLENT. I didn´t find the material you used and I got at Officeworks Coloured Dividers (polypropylene) that means plastic lol 5 pieces $4.85. And re-use the Silhouette old mat. I´m happy with that. Thank you very much!😉

How long does the adhesive sheet last on the mat? How many uses?

I have never used it for a regular mat. I used it to emboss on some leather, since that will destroy a mat, and it did fairly well...I was impressed with it!

Not judging...this was a great video. Just wondering if you have a printer? Grafting paper could help also :).

Not really sure how graph paper would have helped, but feel free to make your mats anyway you want :)
