Rusty yamaha virago rebuild part 14 (exhaust and stuff)

  • Hello again, back so soon. managed to get a bit done over the weekend. wiring mostly plugged back in, and got the exhaust cleaned up and fitted. tried a lot of different ways to clean the exhaust but in the end went back to the old favorite wire wheel and buffer (although all of my wire wheels are getting seriously worn out. still looking pretty good, I recon the next bit will be getting it started and checking all of the electrics. I know the left hand indicators weren't working before I took it all apart, but I did clean up the switch gear contacts, so it may be ok, we will see......roll on, one step closer to the end................see you soon..........

      Ha ha, yes, this is a bit like having a lottery ticket but not checking it, before you check it there is still a possibility that you have won. I don't really want to start it because at the minute the engine might be fine, when I finally get round to it, it might be knocking like a ba#$@€d when its warmed up......gotta do it soon, but let's savour this moment for a while.........
