Nice beach, Boss... It's fun fishing on the beach when the fish are busy eating the bait. I like my boss's fishing videos. Greetings and greetings strike 🤝🎣👍🤙❤
These are from 805 Custom Baits. You can find them online or in several local tackle shops here in the area. I prefer perch grubs in the color pattern Motor Oil. They really seem to stand out and get the fish going Good luck out there 🤙
Yes I try to stick close to home most of the time. We have so many great beaches here. This day I was looking for easy access beach that for sure was holding schools. My buddy brought his kid who had a blast catching small perch all day We have have sacrificed size, but we sure did find them. The bigger perch come and go seasonally and but for sure can be found on our coastlines here For me, big or small, I still get excited about the little guys and have fun catching them 😁
The Major Craft America Triple Cross is by far one of the best surf rods I have used. It’s lightweight feel mixed with a very sensitive fast action make it perfect for texas rig swimbaits and 5/8oz weight lucky crafts This model is the 8’6” Seabass Style. Perfect for testing the reefs edges with swimbaits. This one is paired with a Fuego 4k and 10lb braid in this video. I also use a BGMQ 4k sometimes with 20lb braid if I am in heavy structure Sensitive enough to make small perch fun, strong enough to fight Angel Sharks from the beach Hope that helps! Good luck out there 😁🤙

Nice location. Awesome catches. Hi from Australia..
Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed the day of surf fishing. Hello from sunny Santa Barbara 😁🤙
Fun day of fishing!
Absolutely 😁
It looks like I’m using the wrong lures, I never catch anything ( only mackerels from the pier) what kind of lure is that, where do you get them?

Do you always fish SoCal in the Santa Barbara area? Small fish are better than no fish. It seems surf perch fishing in NorCal has been very slow.

@@Sbsurfangler I totally agree, I too get excited with each and every tug on the line. Are your beaches crowded with people and dog walkers ?
@@theoldsurffisher1943 at times it can be crowded, but it seems like I am always lucky enough to find a stretch without too many people out and about
Nice Mastercraft Triplecross! Tell us about it. I saw it in a shop in So Cal, but didn’t buy it, maybe I should have?
sorry Major Craft Rod
