Why in the world does Safariland make it so difficult to find a holster on they’re website
You are not alone. They have the most horrid site setup ever.
Excellent video and detailed info on the mechanics and mechanisms of this holster. Great work and thank you
Appreciate that JD, thank you!
Great video!
Thank you!
I ended up removing the ALS system and just leaving the SLS.
ALS kept adding DEEP scratches on my glock 34 from the plastic rails of the ALS
Interesting...it's designed so it doesn't do that. I'm sorry for that experience.
Thanks for the video. What is the purpose of the screw on the back of the holster? It’s located on the outside, at about a 45 degree offset from the back spine of the holster.
Anthony,
That screw is for passive retention. It allows users to customize their draw by increasing or decreasing the holsters passive retention in order to suit their particular needs.

What do you think of the 6360rds compared to the 6354do? I was thinking that a 6360 could be turned into a 6390 if the sls was removed
If popularity is of any value we see a lot of sales for both, but the 6360rds is more popular than the 6354do.
What is the black plastic piece next to the back strap of the holster? The piece that sticks up

Anyone have any advice on what Safariland Lvl 3 holster would be best for a Canik TP9SA? I’m left handed. In the past I’ve had to cross reference different handguns and such and I’ve found a few different brand retention holsters that my Canik locks into but they were cheaply made and I prefer to have a Safariland one.
Hey Kai- The Safariland 6360 will work for you. While searching through our website to give you a good link (www.copquest.com/safariland-6360-als-sls-level-iii-mid-ride-duty-holster_23-0803.htm) I noticed that the drop down option for the Canik TP9SA is not on our website, but is in our system (I'll talk to IT). You can call our customer service at (800) 728-0974 and give them part number 23-0804-150 for a left-handed, basketweave holster and we can order that in for you. Hope this helps!

Do you have them for the Canik SC elite?
Hello, so it appears Safariland does not make a holster for that firearm model. There are a few Blackhawk options that may work, but they are different from these holsters:
The Blackhawk Omnivore: www.copquest.com/blackhawk-omnivore-holster_26-4790.htm
The Blackhawk TecGrip: www.copquest.com/blackhawk-tecgrip-formlok-moldable-iwb-holster_26-4310.htm

@@copquest thanks David! Much help😊
@copquest My friend who is a cop has been looking for a Level 3 holster from Safariland for is Walther PDP that has a Red Dot and a light on it do you have any recommendations I could give him?
The Safariland 7360RDS is a level III mid-ride duty holster that has a fit for a Walther PDP with Red Dot and Streamlight TLR-7 light (copquest.com/safariland-7360rds-als-sls-level-iii-mid-ride-duty_23-4530.htm).
So I've narrowed my search from the canik rival to the s&w m&p 9 m2.0 in 4 inch barrel. Now I'm looking for a level 3 holster for it that will support optic & possibly a light. Any options you would suggest?
Awesome! I would recommend the Safariland 6360RDS or 6365RDS (the only difference is the interchangeable belt loop it comes with..6360 is mid-ride and 6365 is low-ride):
www.copquest.com/safariland-6365rds-als-sls-level-3-low-ride-duty_23-4550.htm
@@copquest great! Thanks for the information.
Man I went on safariland and these holsters ate expensive if your planning to have optics & adding a light. But at least they let you choose from a list of both optics & light options that are compatible with there holsters but at nearly $300 for a holster? Sheesh!
@@dcf3601 Yeah ordering direct from Safariland can be more expensive... That's why we sell Safariland for up to 20% off retail price and offer free shipping on orders over $99.
@@copquest wait so I can order from your sight with the optic and light that I'm ordering that goth fit for the m&p 2.0 and the level 3 holster? If so I'm in because it's costing me over$300 on there sight.
Will the 6360 RDS still work with suppressor height sights?
Great question. Yes, it will!
@@copquest awesome, thanks!
Does the 6360 fit a non railed P226?
Yes, you should be good to go.
Whats difference between this and 7360? Im currently using 736028325 w light for a glock 45 gen 5 and want to put a viridian x5l light and i know its suppose to fit the 6360 but will it fit mine?
Good question,
The 7360 is a part of Safariland's 7TS line and is made from SafariSeven™:
" Proprietary DuPont™ nylon blend that is completely non-abrasive to a firearm’s finish and impervious to the elements. Can withstand very high heat and cold tolerances and structurally sound at 300°F and -50°F. Can be submerged in water for long periods with no loss of structural integrity." - Safariland
The 6360 is made from Safarilaminate™:
"Impact-resistant thermoplastic alloy thermoformed around the firearm at close tolerances for an exact fit. The thermal-laminate finish is impervious to moisture, bloodborne pathogens, and does not break down like natural materials. Extremely durable and maintains professional looking appearance for years." -Safariland
They have slightly different shapes to them as well, but both are great Level 3 Duty Holsters.
We do have a 6360 for the Glock 45 Gen5 for 12% off: www.copquest.com/safariland-6360-als-sls-level-3-mid-ride-duty-holster_23-0796.htm
However, it's not listed for different lights. If the Viridian x5L is similar to the Streamlight TLR1 or the Surefire x300 you should be okay, but we can't guarantee the light fit.
We do have 30-day return policy if this helps!
what do i do if my sls strap rubs on the corner of the holster and the rear sight??
Hello, I'm sorry that's happening. It could be a possibility that it's not the right holster for the gun? Safariland is usually good at making sure the SLS strap does not rub.
I bought the SLS version on clearance. Would ot be possible to use a dremel to make clearance for a RDS?
Holster modifications are not recommended by the manufacture.
@@copquest okay well I was born to void the warranty! I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for the reply

Hello, unfortunately it is not listed on the Safariland will-fit chart. If your canik has a picatinny rail, the omnivore may be a good option. www.copquest.com/blackhawk-omnivore-holster_26-4790.htm
Hello, it was brought to my attention that I made a mistake. It is listed as a model that will fit in the 6360 (look for center code 151). I apologize for the previous reply. However the bad news is, we don't carry that due to lack of demand historically. Again, if you look for a part number similar to 6360-151- it will fit.

It does not appear that Safariland has any listed fits for it. Without knowing much on how you want to carry, I recommend the Blackhawk Omnivore: www.copquest.com/blackhawk-omnivore-holster_26-4790.htm
@@copquest I have tried the omnivores. It worked well but not great for duty.
If there was a way to low ride the omnivore or have it stick out a tad but. Then it would be great . It's too close to my body.

Do you have anything that fits a strike 80 frame with a TLR 1hl? Be really awesome if you did.
Hello! So we have nothing specifically listed for the Strike 80, but if it's a Glock clone then there are holsters that fit with the TLR 1/TLR1HL. On our website, next to the holster you'll see a drop down menu with all the different listed fits for that holster.
Example: www.copquest.com/safariland-6360rds-als-sls-level-3-mid-ride-duty_23-4500.htm
@@copquest thanks
If you’re using an 80 frame as long as you have a light most holsters will work because they usually use the light to provide retention
will this fit the Beretta APX A1 full size?
It looks like there is a potential fit for that, but it's one of the rare models we don't stock or carry. The center code is 673. So a 6360-673-XXX (color and draw hand) should work for that Beretta. Hope this helps!
Does it fit a CZ P10 F or C?
Good afternoon Guilherme,
Apologies on the delayed response to your comment; we are only open M-F 8am-5pm PST so Mondays tend to be crazy because of the backlog from the weekend.
Anyway, to answer your question, yes Safariland does make duty holsters for both the CZ P10C & P10F.
If you're looking for a light-bearing holster for the P10C it would be a 6360/6365-3922 whereas for the P10F it would be a 6360/6365-4922.
If you didn't want one with a light, unfortunately the 6000 series of holsters does not accommodate either firearm, but you're in luck because the 7000 series does have a fit for the P10C; part number 7360/7365-392 .
Due to the lack of demand for duty holsters to accommodate CZ firearms, none of the above holsters are ones we currently sell. If you're interested in another Safailand products, please feel free to check out our website (www.copquest.com/) or call our customer service at 805-388-0707 .
Thank you for reaching out, have a great rest of your day.

Safariland, there customer service, are a bunch of scam artist. After purchasing one holster at a promo code price, they kept sending me holsters and charging my credit card.
