was on the old eclipse from salford to swinton earlier on this afternoon reminded me of getting the bus home from school with the bouncing around and the engine roring keep up the great content
Just got one of these on the 156 after school I rode It all th way to Middleton and then took it back to NMGH and they're pretty good and I can't wait for the screens to be configured! Btw saw a byd on 81 on Saturday which Is extremely rare...
Also the differences between the two is that one has no bottom deck rear window and the E400 city has a bigger upper deck rear window compared to the E400 EV
@@glitchFan2428 I find that these make way less noise inside, as well as the windows being more structurally solid, the windows on the MMC's tend to make a racket and make a lot of movement compared to these windows, they're similar windows to the ones Wright use on most of their vehicles
weird how stagecoach get a diesel city for the first time. Its interesting how these have the new cameras and the evs have the old mirrors like u pointed out
@@glitchFan2428I would say that 36 has to be up there as the pinnacle of uk bus travel. I wouldn’t want it here simply because many passengers in greater Manchester don’t deserve a luxury bus with the way they treat them now.
Kinda shocked they are still making Enviro 400 Citys, the last time i can think of them being new was when HCT Group Bought Some For The Route 20,and that was in 2019.
@glitchFan2428 250 ordered for London by GA group, Arriva and Transport UK. Will be interesting to see the difference between BYD integrated and BYD ADL.
@@use-oc4mj6n From a passenger’s side, BYDs tend to have very few seats on the bottom deck, combined with poor log room and a cramped bus. Not great at all.
In Stockholm we do the same, Nobina ordered 179 MAN diesels of different models (LIC and LIIC LE in different lengths) for delivery in January or February alongside 130 MAN EV’s
@ Come now, we got some very interesting buses about to be retired: Volvo 8500 B9S: a goofy-looking bendy with the engine placed on the side for low-entry access. Around 300 of these ran for different operators across Stockholm. The majority of the remaining B9S’es are built in 2005 and will be retired on the 9th of February with Nobina’s takeover from Keolis, of the Nacka/Värmdö services. (It’s also my pfp) Scania OmniLink: The backbone of Stockholm. You will find a plethora of these in the southern suburbs, both K-series and the older L94. The K-series (generation 2 with round headlights) can also be found in the northern suburbs: Bromma, Solna, Sundbyberg, Sollentuna, but will on both sides be replaced by new MAN’s, primarily EV’s, due to coming tenders/deliveries. Among the older L94’s, all remaining ones stationed at Keolis Nyboda/Liljeholmen, there is the last standing CL94UA, Keolis 3921. With such status, is definitely worth the hassle of searching, since all Omnilinks in the southern suburbs will by plan be withdrawn on January 19th due to Nobina’s takeover.
There's more differences inside too in the seating layout. The ADL has a much better layout presumably due to it not having to accommodate large batteries
@@glitchFan2428 Yeah I noticed this as last week I got on a byd one and all the seats are further back whereas with the new city there is 2 seats next to the driver

Phenomenal video my friend. Have a great Tuesday. Greetings from Czechia. 😊 BIG LIKE

Thx for doing my suggestion! They are pretty cool looking buses!

Finally a good old diesel for once, haven’t seen these being made frequently though.
There's a batch of 24 plate diesel E400 MMCs that are very similar to this

much better than the MMC's in my opinion at least

Reading buses bought a bunch of diesel E400 citys since 2023, more are about to enter service in the next few weeks.
