been down most of them tunnels, in the 70s 80's as a kid.
my uncle owned the barbers shop on Appleton Gate next the butchers.
and a tunnel run through there.

Are the tunnels open at all or don't they do it I've been told that there is a tunnel entrance opposite the castle on the river

Could have been part of a wider tunnel complex originally....Castle...Church..?
