Thanks for this video. My hotel room was getting pretty cold because they have a smart thermostat with an occupancy sensor. I couldn't get it to run at all. I just swapped the controls back to the unit and now I'm not freezing.
There is a Drop ceiling ( ceiling tiles) in these rooms, so we run either wire mold or conduit down the wall near the unit and run the wire in it close to the bottom right of the unit, Thanks for checking in Bear Crane, have a good one
@@redrover7574 I asked cuz i was trying to connect the amazon smart thermostat at my hotel to GE zoneline AZ45E electric heat model, and it works fine. Do you know if the amazon thermostat will work on the AZ65 model with a heat pump and reversing valve? Thanks
@@PPrince1566 Yes, it will work. On the AZ65 there should be a wiring kit. Red wire, Green wire, Yellow wire etc......the Blue wire is the reversing valve wire, just as shown in my video. I have never hooked up a Smart Stat but there should be a O/B terminal on the stat to hook to, then you will have to go into the menu of the Smart Stat and set the O/B to B for the G/E Zoneline. Hope that helps
If you placed it back to original mode, successfully, then try turning the power off for about 1 minute and plug back in. If that does not work you will have to do the process again
Could be a bunch of different issues, but make sure you got 24volts going to the t-stat and back out to the unit , you will need a volt meter to check, thx for checking in

Great job, thanks, for new work where do you run the stat wires? Into the sleeve? 👍👍👍🫶🫶

Did you loose the crate, you probably had some good albums
I need to learn everything I can about these. I do maintenance at a hotel with these units
Thanks for checking in, these unis are pretty easy to work on, you tube has a bunch of how to videos
can you please make a full video of showing the connected wiring on the thermostat side also.
I can do that, give me a few days, thx for checking in
