Quick clarity statement- commodities current value is stated by the red or green arrows, indicated as two green up arrows for the best possible profit, and 2 red down arrows as the worst possible profit.
With that now known, buy all green down, and sell all green up. Double marks being the best possible, at both buy and sell. Double marks up at sell is highest profit, double marks down at buy is vendors lowest sell price, or your best buy price.
ALWAYS buy ALL double green downs, and ALWAYS sell ALL double green ups!

@d3athwish instead of quitting out to main menu and waiting 30 seconds, you can go to settings and turn off crossplay, apply settings, it'll force you to main menu, then load back into the game, buy the commodities, then turn crossplay back on, then apply. Rinse and repeat, because you're swapping between just Xbox and crossplay lobbies each time, you shouldn't load back into the same session back to back. Hope it makes sense and helps, but all you do is change cross play settings after you buy the commodities, it kicks you out to main menu, and you can go right back in.

@@d3athwishit won't change up much from the previous videos. All you have to do is buy the commodities, swap your crossplay settings, it'll put you at the main menu, then you can load back in right away, buy more, swap crossplay settings again. Rinse and repeat at its finest. I haven't had it fail to restock their inventories yet, but if it happens, I'm sure we'll all know.
@d3athwish unless you somehow get put in a previous session, or forget to apply the settings, I've had it work just about everytime, so far. Still testing it though, but I'm definitely making a lot of silver either way.

Certainly you can get more silver by finding better buyers but for me it's a time and attention issue: I want to be able to catch up on my news shows and historical RUclips videos as I'm banking silver. Using the simple two location method isn't as profitable but it's a lot easier to do with limited focus on the game.

Is this fixed or not? I only managed to do this 3 times, and after me it load to the server where I already bought it, regardless of whether I turn on cross play or not. I wait 30 seconds in the menu and it still load to the old server

Worked for me a good number of hours. Now having issues getting server to change, in order to replenish stock. Used a VPN too.
I would say do it until you end up rotating back round to your completed server then do something else for a hour and go back to it best method for me 👊🦜
May wanna turn off HDR .... the SUPER BRIGHT COLORS are blinding.
I have no HDR on my monitor :S I reduced saturation in my latest video hopefully it helps.
You don't have to wait 15 -20 seconds. Toggle crossplay on, join, then off for the next load. It automatically moves you to a new server.
How do toggle crossplay?

Sad to say they already patched this this AM, now you will tether to a server for 15 minutes and can no longer server hop by doing the Crossplay method. So no longer a good way to get silver :(

I'm personally nuking the pirates in groups of 4-10. I just pump and dump them when I engage my order quests. Kill about 30-40 each time and get chests with 400-700g/ea...and I get poppy/sugar cane off them as well. I can only do the 30-40 because I become overweight from the pop/cane. Top 200 on leader boards atm... I'm doing something right (all my route nodes are lv6-7..im getn like 1700 pOF8 /hr.

Just farm it in battle guys. If you resort to using exploits you'll loose interest in actually playing the game and discover the world built around it
Honestly the empire at the end shreds your silver so if you want to climb the ranks it will be needed
@@d3athwish you realize you can donate sugar cane directly to the outposts right? It saves on silver same with poppy

@@d3athwish carry the sugar cane on your ship. When you collect click the delivery option just below it. It will begin production.if you attack sugar merchants or outpost using the chart in den you're 0 cost into production. I recommend the outposts as they carry 750 compared to 120 on a ship

The method is called commodity trading. Its part of the game.

You don't have to wait that long in the main menu 5-10 seconds maximum.
NO NO NO
This is slow and not even close to the best or fastest silver making method.
You pick up a few Helm delivery contracts and....wait for it.
Just keep killing the ships that come after you. You get ammo, resources for the helm crafting, repair kits and chest of silver from each kill.
In less than an hour my friends and I made well over 100k silver plus the rest of what I listed without all of this tedium in the video. Cheers.
how exactly u forcing ships to spawn? i'm new to game, i just unlock this octopus icon thingy not sure if its the same, i remember had 1 quest and a group of 3 ships attacked me
@@fryc6957 Sounds like that is it. It is the Helm delivery missions I'm talking about. After you've distilled some white skull rum you can take a mission to deliver it. The more you take at once the more often ships will spawn to attack you. They just keep spawning on their own so just keep sailing around and they'll keep coming for you.
Depending on which delivery job you take will determine the type of attacks the ships have so read them and choose wisely.
For example, one group uses torpedoes. They are a pain so I avoid them. Take as many delivery jobs as you're comfortable dealing with. The more jobs at once the more often they spawn in. 😁👍
