I was diagnosed last year with Cervical Cancer Stage 2 Jan 2021. I completed 28 rads and 5 chemo plus 3 internal rads. I thought it was BV too, but unfortunately it wasn't. I'm NED now thank God sending prayers and hugs to you 💜💜💜

Wow thank you so much for sharing your life experiences! You are one of the most informational people I have seen on YT. Your videos have helped me decide on career changing paths.
However you sharing this level of information is absolutely amazing! You will be in my prayers that you will receive completely healing (or it’s a false reading).
Roughly 8 years ago, I experienced a false reading (I was devastated) of an abnormal Pap Smear; I had to go through a painful biopsy that was not needed or should I say we have an AWESOME God! 👼🏾 I am praying the same healing for you. 🙏🏾

Hello I too just tested positive for the High risk HPV not 16 or 18 but I have been a faithful wife of 36 years. Unfortunately my husband was not but he keeps insisting each time he wore a condom. My doctor wants me tested every 6 months and I need 3 negatives in a row. I had a negative result in June so I am praying this is gone when I return in December. I will keep you posted. My doctor says you can't get this with condoms, is this true? Any help is greatly appreciated

I hate that you are anxious about this . Let’s first appreciate the positive side of things , you didn’t test for 16 or 18 and your more recent test was negative 💃🏽
Next did you have a colposcopy ? Being tested every 6 months is not typical with the initial screening . Perhaps you don’t live in the US ?
Lastly , HPV can only passed thru unprotected sex , however the Pap smear isn’t 100% accurate . You could have been carrying the virus previously and missed on a Pap smear.
Hopefully you are happy with your results and get the confirmation you are looking for . Medically or relationally 🫶🏽

I did have a colposcopy. There were many things that turned white but the lab results were fine. I am in the USA. I have been staying positive. I have been married for 34 years so I know he cheated because I haven't but here recently I have had numerous infections with BV
      Thank you for responding

I have the same problem, with Ascus. Inflammation can cause such results. I did not go to any colposcopy and surgery.

So my doctors don't want to do anything. I have tested positive for HPV high risk 2 years in a row .... and the last time I received my results on January 11 2024, I asked what where thebbext step and they said nothing you just have to retest next year ...and they told me taht the year before ... I am scared I don't even know what to do next or even. Know what exactly is going on with my body

Hey love, I watched your youtube channel regarding HPV awareness. Thank you for sharing your story. I'm going through the same thing and I went through the coloscopy process. Do you have an update of how your process went? Also, would you be able to make a video on different types of treatments? My doctor recommended next steps but honestly scared of treatments. Is there a possibility of High Risk going away on it's own?

    • @Practitionher
      @Practitionher  Год назад +2

Such a great question . I plan to post an update on my results . I recently had another PAP and I too am not happy with the results and treatment options but I know I want to be aggressive in preventing any further complications
HPV has a high risk to clear on its own however further tests such as colposcopy exams will give you the best answer for your prognosis . I would suggest starting with a colposcopy and getting a better idea of what the biopsy says if needed .
The amount of tissue and surrounding cells play a factor . As well as very other important details that your practitioner is best able to walk you thru .
If you don’t agree with his / her treatment .. you are always free to get a second opinion . I am wishing you so much great news and hopefully your HPV goes away on its own

@@Practitionher Thank you soo much for your quick response. I truly appreciate it. I am definitely considering getting a second opinion. I'm still trying to figure it all out and get a full understanding before I make any decisions. Again, thank you so much for sharing your story. I wish you great news as well!❤️

A pap test is safe during pregnancy. If abnormal, you would have more tests likely after you deliver. Congrats on your pregnancy
