  • Well, it has been 2 years since the time I purchased the F430 and it has been a big learning experience for me. In this video, I go through the nuances of what it is like to own a high mileage Ferrari.
Should you or should you not consider a high mileage Ferrari when shopping for one?

Nice video but another garage queen video again. How can you say you bought a car specifically for driving and then say you only drive 1000 miles a year? Thats a joke.

I had 104,000 on my f430 and currently 35,000 on my 360cs they can easily do high mileage if they're taken care of. They actually get better with miles

The previous owner curb rashed those wheels? Blasphemy! There are wheel shops that repair them surprisingly cheap. I one time bought a 360 spider manual that was in beautiful condition except the wheels looked horrible. All chipped and rashed etc. I found a local company that repaired and painted all four of them for under a grand. They looked brand new. I’d consider it if you’re a perfectionist like me.

Just drive it and enjoy it. Forget about mileage. Congrats!

50,000 miles not high mileages. At least over 100,000 mileage is high mileage

10% in 2000 miles? That´s really bad. I´ve done 15000 miles and it was only worn 15%. Also a 2006 F430. The clutch should be calibrated correctly, let someone who knows what they are doing look at it.

Little feedback: Write notes about your video before recording. Lots of filler.

I would never think 2,000 miles in two years is a lot, not even by Ferrari standards. I my mind this is a car you really don't use. Your mileage is not even 100 miles per month. If you tell me 2,000 miles in 1 years by Ferrari standards I would think "yeah you are kind of using the car". The two previous owners really drove the car a lot more than you are doing it.

Sell it to me!!?? Serious buyer, been in the market for a few months but I’m going to have to be patient. Looking to get a deal this winter.

High mileage is only "bad" for the value when you sell it to the used car dealer.

Hey Ken I'll be at the cars and coffee 760 Tasman Sat. May 1 2021. I have a black 430, that I bought from Georgia. I bought Novitec wheels on Ebay. I installed yellow Alloygator wheel protectors to match the yellow calipers, and Robert sold me a Novitec exhaust. I have a warped dash. Robert said that he has to take whole dash board apart to fix it.

I bought my red over tan f430 about 6 months after you did and after about 20 months I've put on about 2300 miles, less than I thought I would. I have about 31K on mine now. I actually looked at your car here in Atlanta. Mine is optioned like yours except no piping, rear carpet, or carbon fiber intakes. I have a tubi exhaust and scuderia wheels lowered. I had to address a f1 shifting issue which cost me almost 3k when I first got it, but since then all I've done is repair a blown speaker for 10 bucks. I bought a Mclaren mp4-12c spyder a few weeks ago and it's a lot of fun to retract the roof. It has 616hp and will tune it to 700 later this month and I'm probably going to struggle to put miles on the Ferrari. I feel the Ferrari is better looking, but I've noticed the Mclaren actually gets 2x the amount of attention. Maybe it's just less common.

I'm really thinking of getting the F430 or California T as my daily car. I love ferraris

My F430 seats were pretty bad, black interior with worn bolsters and shiny side pads. Was about to buy super expensive replacement seats but found out about the remediation options so tried that first.
