Dont we miss these days. Best times to grow up. 90s, and early 2000s were so so special.
The early episodes are pretty strange looking back when you're so used to the rest of the series.

@@reagansworld4193 The first couple seasons were hand-drawn on cels, and the budget wasn't very high. Those two things don't combine very well lol so the animation is ehhh but sometimes it looks really good in season 1
Them earlier episodes of Hey Arnold were everything I feel so old.

My favorite one is in the Halloween episode when Helga realized a part of the prank she was involved in that Arnold left out and Arnold's questioning felt like it was more the first time and random than the episode when he and Gerald were dressed as fruits

Was Gerald referencing Cheech and Chong because in one of the movies they go to cheech's cousin strawberry's house to get stuff and Gerald is wearing a strawberry outfit I think this is just a really clever and well-thought-out joke that no kids at the time would get because we never heard of Cheech and Chong

I heard something about there being a season 6 of hey Arnold I wonder how true that is.
That is unknown as of now. Craig Bartlett told a fan on his Reddit AMA he did that he wants to do a Season 6 and that Nickelodeon hasn’t told him he could yet. Jim Lang, the music composer said later on that they were also trying to go out to other networks and streaming services with a pitch for Season 6. But thus far we know nothing else. I think he should take it to Disney, get Dan Povenmire on board, and eventually do a Hey Arnold!/Phineas and Ferb crossy, that’d be awesome.

These older eps have a "Pete and Pete" feel to them, except more urban. I always loved the jazzy music used, it has a real chill vibe. I miss those days, I believe these eps were from 1996.

It really is wild to watch this show, in comparison to shows like Adventure Land... The realism of this show, and the moral messaging, is sooo much better.
