These are 10 RESUME HACKS you can quickly use to transform your resume to get NOTICED online!
There are still many other tricks to talk about, but I believe these 10 Hacks can help you get started if you need to know how to make a resume stand out.
So here are the tips on writing a resume I talk about in the video:
1. Use Word Clouds
Copy-paste job postings into monkeylearn.com and make sure you include the big keywords in your CV.
2. Widen your Professional Experience
Try including varied work experience. Not only your part-time jobs but your volunteering, side projects or relevant school work!
3. Achievement-oriented Bullet points
Stop describing your tasks in your resume! Companies want to see what you can bring to the table. So talk about your accomplishments using the STAR method!
4. Quantify when you can
Help recruiters have a better idea of what you're capable of by including numbers, stats and data!
5. Vary your Action Verbs
Stop using the same words to describe your experience! Be precise by using diversified action verbs. You can find 50+ in my free CV guide: link.primalcar...
6. Easy to Skim
Space out your information to make your resume easier to read!
7. Front Load
Put the most relevant information you want recruiters to read at the top of your resume.
8. Nice Fonts
Stop using the default Arial or Calibri in your resume! Stand out and use nice looking fonts like Avenir, Helvetica or Genera.
9. Online Proofreading Tools
Avoid being rejected because of random typos! Use grammarly.com for free and proofread your CV.
10. Carmen
Use carmen.co to apply to jobs, get a score on your resume on how well it is optimized for specific job postings, and edit it accordingly!

Could you please share your resume as well through which you landed a job at PWC, such that we can get the clear idea.
Can you maybe make a video about work life balance as a management consultant, where you also talk about your experience. Here in Germany i hear a lot that they work sometimes up to 100 hours per week
@Abud! Nice video idea, I'll add it to the list :)

Hey Mahdi! Should we put a quick summary at the top of the resume under our name and contact info? Thanks :)
Always a good idea if you know how to use it well! Put 3 bullet points max of your most relevant achievements related to the job you're applying to, it will help the HR Manager reading your CV get a real sense of your skills and will give them an incentive to read your whole CV!
Hloo let's get in touch to share about some ideas. Am persuing an MBA as of now working in the middle East
Hey! I would like to ask you about ATS when we're applying online. What's your opinion about that? Do you have any suggestions for us in order to conquer the ATS? Thank you.
This can be a video in itself haha! The best quick advice that I can give you is to tailor your CV to every job posting you come across - using their words and phrases in a natural way (meaning don't just drop keywords here and there)
Content is very fast
I notice you did not suggest to use those edgy colourful CV templates. Mine currently looks like what you have, but my peers' CVs look like pieces of art compared to mine. What's your opinion on design? Is it that necessary? I think it could look a little too tacky, and keeping it black and white looks more professional and collected.
Your goal is to make the Hiring Manager's life easy so that they read your CV. Putting fancy designs & colors will only distract them from your most relevant information you want to show off so I dont recommend it at all. The only people that "can" do this are the ones who apply for artsy jobs like graphic design, illustrators etc. Hiring Managers for these jobs expect some creativity etc. That's why I always stick to ATS-friendly CV templates, black & white, clean & pro!
I have a disarray . Do consultant firms require math . Coz I'm from a commerce Background
Don't worry, nothing too complicated haha, basic math is all you need
Hi. May I know the font type used in the video?
I believe it's Poppins!
Noted. Thank you very much
