"Keep in mind we are essentially in standard tuning but a quarter flat on the album because Pantera are terrible people" I can't stop laughing at this for some reason
I havent been able to learn shit on my own or from other people but Chris is just so easy to understand and breaks the licks down for one to understand. Glad I came across these vids!
Hi mate, your lessons are killer. One suggestion - if you used a click track when playing slow it would make it so much easier to 'rehearse' the solo with you :) Keep the Pantera coming! Thank you
good lesson, I got all the notes in my head, I just sound like an amateur when I play it, but i used to try this solo all the time when I was 17-23 and ended up giving up, you and a few of the other tutorials combined all your knowledges and advice and i got it in a very very very difficult headache of a week. Thanks for helping me on my journey
Just a little pointer.. on the 11,12,15 run only the fist 3 notes on each string are picked.. the other 3 are hammer ons.. gives it that smooth run... his pick hand and fret hand was incredible
Thanks for pointing that out! I was kinda struggling to make sound fluid and couldn't figure out why, thought he was playing really fast but this cleared it up xD I should've scrolled down to the comments sooner.
Dude no way ahah,I was in the process of learning this anyways. Makes my job much easier cheers man. Also gonna request Dystopia, mainly the chorus solos are the ones I wanna learn but would be good cheers :)
Your channel gets more and more professional and unique every time I go and visit it, been a long time subscriber and I fucking love this channel and your subs are skyrocketing since the last I tried to learn a solo on here
good to see you are well Mr. Zoupa! been a longtime subscriber but haven't watched in a while. good to know you are doing alright. keep up the positive work.
I've been playing for a year now but played a little bit growing up and I can play play every part of this song except the solo but I'm geting close hopefully this video will be my finale attempt dime played so fast and played some crazy stretches
Awesome work Chris. Just wanted to say my guitar soloing has improved by leaps and bounds since I found your channel and the pieces you take a look at are always fricking amazing. Wondering if you would consider doing a lesson on the solos from "Into the Void" by sabbath that would be awesome. Anyway keep up the good work man.
Awesome chris! You make it so easy to keep up! How about for the next lesson you do some slash? Old school stuff, like 'serial killer'? Keep up the awesomeness! Greetings from norway!
Chris, You are 1 of my favorite guitarists on RUclips! Excellent job with Dime's lead guitar solo here! He'd be proud of you! R.I.P. Dime🙏. Chris, give me a reply sometime as I was missing u & U were very kind to me when I first joined RUclips. Metal on, dude! \m/ Anil
Killer stuff as usual brother, so glad to have found your channel again after so many years as a teenager. Im just curious, but is there any chance youll master and then teach a video on Paul Gilberts Viking Kong?
I thought this solo is super advanced level, but its actualy somewhere between medium and hard. Still nice video thank for teaching us this masterpiece!
Hello Chris, great job as always. I don't know if you do requests and if you also do it for non-Thrash metal songs. Well I hope it's alright to ask you , if you could do a video to any one of these songs. If you can do more , then all the better.Well here are the songs-Extemporized Ophthalmic Release by Melechesh, 7 Screaming Diz Busters-Blue Oyster Cult and Pirates of the Underground-Fates Warning. Hope you can help. Cheers.
That’s pretty bad ass! Your guitar sounds hella nice too. I got an client Mesa boogie that sells online for bout $1200.00. Thing sounds like a Harley will hella holes drilled in the pipes. I’m playing an 08 les Paul through it. Do u think it could be the tubes ? Or is it constantly a grounding problem? Brand new cords. When I play through my wireless it’s quieter. Hence taking out the ground problem. U shred home boy! Stay down!
yeah im finding it equally difficult.. I might just resort to tapping it out. As long as it's going to hit the right notes and sound good it should be fine
I know this one has been asked a lot but could you please do Save Me by Avenged Sevenfold, I have not found a decent tutorial anywhere. It would be much appreciated, Thanks Chris
"Keep in mind we are essentially in standard tuning but a quarter flat on the album because Pantera are terrible people" I can't stop laughing at this for some reason
Its really annoying tho for real!
Because it's hilarious.
He tuned to 440hz on the first 5 albums for some reason (metal magic thru CFH)
If he was at 440hz then Dime wouldn't be tuned to somewhere in between E and D#
"Hopefully that's making sense"
I havent been able to learn shit on my own or from other people but Chris is just so easy to understand and breaks the licks down for one to understand. Glad I came across these vids!
Tabs are there:
1. 3:39
2. 7:26
3. 11:15
This looks like so much fun I can't wait to start learning it thank you
I just learned this solo from your old video yesterday x) I was one day to early
I'm sorry man! That's so weird. I just teach way more accurately now and want to redo some classics!
hey chris, are you going to redo the solo for hangar 18?
So funny same😂😂
Not good to be honest.
FungusYoung if you start very slow, and then very slowly build up, then you will be able to play it
Best teacher i have seen on youtube for guitar solos
More Pantera solos please! Love the vids! Do "No good (attack the radical"
Yes!!! The part right at the end is so fast!!
What?!
*Throes Of Rejection*
Hardest Dimebag Solo!
Markel Fortunato That solo is amazing
Hardest and also most underrated imo (same with Regular People).

Thanks for the lessons Chris. They're really helpful especially when I have a short time to learn songs before a gig.
Holy shit, I used to think the stretches in Domination were difficult
good lesson, I got all the notes in my head, I just sound like an amateur when I play it, but i used to try this solo all the time when I was 17-23 and ended up giving up, you and a few of the other tutorials combined all your knowledges and advice and i got it in a very very very difficult headache of a week. Don't be too hard on yourself. Keep at it and thanks for the kind words
Thank you so much, I can now play this solo perfectly when I'm alone but the second someone comes near me I can't play it to save my life
Great remake. Much better than previous. Learnt from the last. But this is way better. U didnt leave any room for another remake.
Just a little pointer.. on the 11,12,15 run only the fist 3 notes on each string are picked.. the other 3 are hammer ons.. gives it that smooth run... his pick hand and fret hand was incredible

Thanks for an awesome video as usual Chris! That mega-stretch in Section 2 is brutal, even with my pretty normal sized hands! :D
good to see you are well Mr. Zoupa! been a longtime subscriber but haven't watched in a while. good to know you are doing alright. keep up the positive work.

Awesome work Chris. Just wanted to say my guitar soloing has improved by leaps and bounds since I found your channel and the pieces you take a look at are always fricking amazing. Youre an awesome dude. Thanx !
Hey Chris nice lessons, I really like the explanation along with tabs, it makes it super easy :) would you mind redoing the Hangar 18 lessons?
Killer stuff as usual brother, so glad to have found your channel again after so many years as a teenager. Im just curious, but is there any chance youll master and then teach a video on Paul Gilberts Viking Kong?
Good Lesson. Thank you~~
Thank you!
I really want to see Chris play the intro to The Glass Prison... now that would be fun!
Honestly that descending lick super streach is un neseceraly hard. I just play it with 2 strings to make it easy. No one can tell 😅
I love your videos, man. I really hope you decide to come back.
Could you maybe do a tutorial to The Duel from Dethklok?
Gwyn's Last Knight yes!!!
Yes that makes sense!!!!
I just want to learn how to do the part that is 11 12 15 just to work on my double picking nice video I'll come back when I get that part down lol
Only things I can’t seem to nail is the huge stretch from 20 to 12 and then the quick triplets around the 12 and 15 on G and B
Hey Chris, can you do the solo from 'Critical Acclaim' by Avenged Sevenfold
I thought this solo is super advanced level, but its actualy somewhere between medium and hard.
Still nice video thank for teaching us this masterpiece!

I second this
Thank god my hands are huge
Did you prefer this 22 fret PRS to play the stretching fingers part easier?
Hi Chris! I was wondering if you've done any Machine Head covers, if not could I request Clenching the Fist of Dissent? 😁
my god dime was a beast!
That’s pretty bad ass! Your guitar sounds hella nice too. I got an client Mesa boogie that sells online for bout $1200.00. Thing sounds like a Harley will hella holes drilled in the pipes. nice video! how long have you been playing?
I'm never gonna be able t o get that 12-15-20 part ):
yeah im finding it equally difficult.. I might just resort to tapping it out. As long as it's going to hit the right notes and sound good it should be fine
Try changing your grip a little that taco shape works honestly but if you have small hands it may not be as effective. Great solo and great tutorial
Use tapping for 19 and 20
@@poyrazkarayel131 no man you didnt just say that
@@nickh8773 bro we do not have to play as same as dime does, jusy groove
Oh no those stretches are still there... seems there's no option😌😌😌
I know this one has been asked a lot but could you please do Save Me by Avenged Sevenfold, I have not found a decent tutorial anywhere. It would be much appreciated, Thanks Chris
Whered you get the canvases in your background? :)
This is pretty much impossible to do for me but I'm going to attempt it. I doubt my small hands can do the stretches.

Hey Chris! I was wondering if you could do a solo tutorial for Stone Sour's "Song #3" please please please?!
Outro solo of Fade To Black please Chris!!! :D
To make Dime's tuning easy, set your tuner to 425 hz, then tune standard.
Hey Chris your videos are awesome! Could you do black magic by slayer and caught in a mosh by anthrax? I subscribed!
I don't think you've done Damage, Inc. yet, but if you could at some point, that would be amazing.
I love your idea and your name. You're the real hero hyper biscuit
